Please help this young man, these brothers and sisters of ours who have no food. They may eat only one small piece of bread every day, or they may have nothing. They have been being starved for not just a year, not just seven or seventeen years, but some of them have spent their entire lives being starved! Everyone who is a child in Gaza today has been being starved their entire lives, because it’s been nearly 18 years since they have been locked inside the walls and gates and fences surrounding the Strip where Israel keeps them captive and even restricts their caloric intake; but, for months now almost nothing– really, nothing –is allowed in by Israel, or its citizens, who physically put themselves in front of the trucks bringing in medicine and food– never mind anythg else! –and stop the aid from getting to the people of Gaza. It’s not right. And it’s an international crime. There are international crimes, but there are no international police to arrest anyone. There are but they’re only for white people. Meanwhile these people, our brothers and sisters are starving and I hope you will be able to spare something because imagine yourself hungry –starving is a world beyond that, it’s torture, it’s cruel beyond any measure. Maybe you are aware.
