The comic takes place after the questers (BABTQFTIM) fight Cala Maria and get the gear out from her head. The questers pass through a town, which they take advantage of, and they meet 2 orphan boys. A boy named "Aster Kozlov", 17, who has a younger brother who is 12. The younger brother's name is Eki Kozlov. Aster has red horns and a red tail, partially a demon, but unlike Bendy, who is fully a demon. Aster during the series will find himself falling for some of the other questers, while Eki is shy and sticks to Aster like glue. They meet the questers at a hotel while spending the night. How they met? Aster was sneaking out back to find some "drug dealer" guy, his name isn't known by Aster, but he met Cuphead while getting drugs from this mysterious Border Collie. The Border Collie is always tired due to his poor sleep schedule, but always has orders perfect. The Border Collie wears a trenchcoat, and blue jeans. Sometimes, there's a small black puddle that follows him, as if he's always dripping ink..But he's never seen having an ink illness attack. His trenchcoat stays buttoned up, almost always. he carries his supplies in the trenchcoat inner pockets, and never reveals what his fur looks like. Cuphead and Aster meet one time while picking up something they'd both ordered from this drug dealer, and they end up talking for a while. They tell each other their names, and Cuphead talks to Mugman about the two orphan boys. (assuming that Aster had told Cup about Eki). Mugman immediately suggests adding the two boys to the quest, and the next day, at the market, Aster and Eki run into Boris and Mugs. Mugman was grabbing some apples, and Boris was looking for some vegetables for a soup. The story/comic will start when the Questers come into the new town one afternoon.
