The most irritating part of the community is absolutely the individuals who forget this is, in fact, an elite, dangerous, and still possibly even deadly sport. The last person killed here was only a decade ago and near-deaths still occur.

I don't want to be the guy saying some 'need to learn its history' but in learning it fewer will keep treating it as a k-pop tee-hee drama whining about what's fair and who's ship is 'better', and the sport drenched in blood and politics it actually is.

At the very minimum, read the history of GPDA.
