I was going to do a whole post of my dice hoard but you can only upload 30 images. Well, I'll tell you, I have 57 sets of dice currently, plus a pile of miscellaneous dice that don't belong to a set. But these are my favorites.
This was my first ever set of dice. I'm missing the d100, which barely makes a difference. It came with my first D&D module that me and my brother played (we had no idea how to play D&D, but I have very fond memories of these dice).
This was my second ever set, and I absolutely loved these dice, and used them all the time, hence how I'm missing the d100 and the d4. I got it from the same game shop that I played my first real D&D game at. It was a very strange campaign, but again, fond memories.
I call these my Byler dice. I was buying dice for my friend's birthday, and of course I have an addiction, so being in a game shop, I have to buy something for myself. This was just back in February, the Stranger Things finale was still raw.
My first resin set. Probably my objectively prettiest set of dice. I like to play a dragonborn with these.
Gay dice!! I think I got these for Christmas one year, but I can't remember.
This is one of my favorite sets. And the d20 is my luckiest; she's given me quite a few memorable nat 20s.
My most recently purchased set of dice. I was buying a charger for my computer on Amazon and I got distracted. These came home with me too.
I got these a long time ago, but I can't remember when or where. Also there's a piece of hair in this image, I'm very sorry. Anyway, pretty metal dice! They feel so good to roll. They tinkle like bells.
I got a Barnes and Noble gift card for Christmas one year. You know, for books. I bought these at Barnes and Noble instead because I caught the beautiful beacon of light indicating the presence of polyhedral dice in my peripheral, and the rest was history.
These are also from Barnes and Noble. I was buying Curse of Strahd (having our session zero for that campaign this Sunday yay!!) and I couldn't leave the website without some dice.
Can't remember where I got these, but I love them. The next time I play as a PC and not as DM (#forever DM lolol haha im not crying) I will be playing as a copper or green dragonborn and using these as my main set.
Sigh, can't remember where I got these either. But I love how big the numbers are. And there's liquid inside!! I often use these for general magic rolls.
Bought these from some dice website online, idk. But I'm a big fan of the set coming with 4 d6 and 2d20; you only need the one set to roll your ability scores, and you only need the one set to roll advantage/disadvantage. This being said, yes I still need more dice.
Um... okay. So this is a very pretty set. But. TRIGGER WARNING: SA. This set belonged to a "friend" of mine, who was our DM in a game we were playing together and with a bunch of our other friends (a school club). I didn't like her to begin with, but I would've taken any chance to get to play D&D as a player. She had harassed me in the past, but I figured I'd give her a second chance. And I wanted to play D&D. Anyway, she ended up assaulting one of our other friends after one of our D&D sessions. Since I own a majority of the dice we use, I had a box over at our friend's house. The rapist in question left her dice at the house too, because the friend whose house we were at would bring all the D&D stuff back to school on Monday. But, well, this girl got kicked out of school and when my friend gave me my D&D stuff back, this set of dice was in the box. I think they're unlucky. I use them for my BBEGs.
Oooh look shiny pretty dice with no awful backstory! I think I got them at a game shop? Can't remember. Anyway, they're iridescent. But it's hard to read the numbers sometimes.
More resin dice with crinkly bits inside, what's not to love. These one though aren't super well made, if they aren't positioned in the exact position they're in in this image, they just look kinda clear. But they're nice.
Another one of my oldest sets, not exactly sure when I got it. But I still use these super often, they're pretty and sparkly.
More pretty sets that I don't have anything to say about...
Hope you enjoyed. I do not plan on getting clean.
