Day 8: Kiss.

Flashlight Week, Day 7: Holding

Now this one is my favorite. I had enough time to both draw the background and play around with both shading and lighting. I liked the idea of these two having study sessions together and Flash being Twilight’s favorite distraction. Not to mention that Twilight tries to hold Flash’s hand at any given opportunity.

Flashlight Week, Day 5: Listening

This one I’m especially proud of. I started to get a bit more confident with shading and overlays when I was drawing it. Plus, I just love the idea of these two having late night chats over the phone.

I came up with the idea for this one when I had Kittilyse draw a commission for me for some Flashlight art. You should definitely check out her art!

I don’t really see that much of Flare Warden x Dusk Shine fanart these days. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and draw these two.

Flashlight Week: Cooking

You know, something that I was always curious about, was how Twilight would’ve reacted to human foods. Like most people, I believe she would stick to a vegetarian diet. But even then, a human’s vegetarian diet is WAYYYYYYY different than a pony’s. The stuff we have to eat, like onions, potatoes, tomatoes, avocados, garlic, peppers, and pretty much 90% of our foods are toxic to horses. So, when Princess Twilight gets the chance to try our food for the first time as a human, without any of the negative side effects, it would be like experiencing a whole new color to her. So much so, that she would keep coming back to the human world just to try new dishes with Flash and even make some too. Although she still doesn’t trust onions, as evident by the makeshift hazmat suit of Flash’s hoodie.

Flashlight Week: Rain

When I came up with this prompt, I just had to reference Miraculous Ladybug. Flash’s good nature wouldn’t allow him to just walk away if someone was in need. Even if he’s still a blushing mess around Twilight.

I drew this back in June for Pride Month but I could never be satisfied with the shading or lighting. Sorry this is a bit late, but better late than never. I tried my best to have their arms to resemble a heart.

But regardless, I’m happy with how it turned out. Rarijack is my second favorite FxF ship (second to Princess Twi and Sunset) and I’ve always wanted an excuse to draw them. Plus, this work has taught me a lot about how to apply shading and lighting to artwork.

Twilight was a bit hesitant to attend a cooking class. She was less hesitant when she learned Timber was attending as well. She became interested when she learned that Flash would be there and she became committed to the cooking club when she found out that Flash cooks shirtless.

Not My Hoodie Anymore (💜SciFlash💙)

For those who don't know, a few years back, I made a lot (and I mean a LOT) of content for this ship. Like, I was almost exclusively an EqG and SciFlash fanartist for a few years. 😅

And even though I still love this ship and are widely recognized for my art of them, I barely make content of them nowadays due to both running out of ideas to make of these two and also moving on to other fandoms and content.

But fortunately there are still fans of these two out there who occassionally put their trust in me to bring their SciFlash ideas to life, such as my lovely client Alkabiadiz with this comic! It still feels nice to get to draw my nerds from time to time. ♡
