Rating: T Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Tony Stark/Stephen Strange Characters: Tony Stark, Stephen Strange, Peter Parker Summary:  Tony and Stephen both have a history with each other. Before Tony became the Iron man, and Stephen was injured in his car accident, they used to be an item. But after their victory over the mad titan Thanos, a reunion of heroes leads Tony and Stephen to question their past relationship and feelings - What ever happened to it?

Notes: This is my first story written in collaboration with Ironstrangefrostohmy/ MarvelWizardMom. They were an absolute delight to write with and I couldn’t be happier with how this piece turned out ;; <3 I hope you guys enjoy it!

There was a tear in the sky; a bloody wound between worlds that dripped glistening black oil and creatures with bulbous, blank fish eyes. In the middle of it was Stephen who glanced up at the widening laceration that stretched across the sky. Crimson highlighted the curve of his cheek, danced across the tips of his hair, and laid like devil’s hands upon his shoulders. He turned to Tony with hard blue eyes and said ‘I have to go’.  

Desperate hook fingers caught on the blue robes and Tony scrambled for a hold, his breath coming in hurried gasps. “Don’t—” he said and the words caught in his throat. “Don’t—”

Stephen’s face softened from all sharp artist lines to smeared graphite after the side of a hand dragged across the page. He stepped forward—lower than Tony, standing just beneath the debris the other man was on—and leaned up.

Their lips came together like a padlock clicking shut; a quiet thing, a hard thing.

A promise.

A soft sound left Tony’s throat.

Stephen pulled slowly back, out of the arms that were already reaching for him. “I’ll come back,” he said, knuckle under Tony’s chin, his eyes half lidded, breath hot.

“You better,” Tony said, and held on until Stephen lifted out of reach, heading towards the sky.

I’m once again completely flattered you took the time to compliment my work with a stunning and well written addition of your own! You always have such a way with words in your stories, thank you so much, I love this!
