I might or might not have accidentally hibernated.
astralconqueror started following you
"Hey! It’s the sleepy strategist! What brings you by?"
"And it's the Monkey King, I see. I was following this little kitten. Have you seen it?"
"I can do that for you right now," he said, pulling out his phone and accessing the internet real quick. Pulling up the game’s wiki page, he’d find a picture of the weapon and show it to him.
"See? They even have you in an outfit like yours, too."
"This is scarily accurate really -- and what is that thing you used to find it?"
Good Cop Bad Cop [astralconqueror]
"Yeah no shit." The other’s remark earned him a surly snort as the raven haired man continued finishing the last line of another report before shuffling it into another stack. His actions are methodical, almost clinical in nature as he slotted the papers into different sections in a manner that suggested he was familiar with the procedures. "Are you deaf? I said I want no part in whatever you shit stains are doing.” The offered hand goes ignored completely as Levi placed another stack of papers onto the desk, a little harder than usual. The private investigator never took too kindly with the police barging into his business and arm twisting him into cases. Jesus fucking christ, are the insides of their head empty? "Produce papers explaining why the hell you lot are looking for me again, or else get the fuck out."
He let out a huff before pulling his hand back to his sides. He really wished that this wouldn't be all that hard -- then again, his superior had already warned him about this trouble that he would face.
"Well, even if you want no part in it -- Erwin sure was confident that you would want to join in," he shrugged as he held out the folder he had tucked under his arms. "These are the case file and the profiles of the gang wars that've been rather explosive downtown at night."
Honestly, Hanbei thought that he could manage another partner (maybe someone a lot nicer) but Erwin had said that the man before him was the one of the best in his job, and he didn't doubt that blond man.
