There had been so many letters she had received across the years that she had carefully kept collected in a box in her room all the way back in Antiva, a cherished treasure of memories from so many of her loved ones. And so to enable another to share the joy of such a SIMPLE gesture such as exchanging mail was an easy choice.

And an angel, as Henry so kindly described her, she was, for she overlooked any of the mistakes and the lack of elegant penmanship that she knew a lot of her peers would have put their noses up at. It mattered not if the writing was imperfect and the letters a little crooked and splotchy when the words were just right. " It is a beautiful letter, Henry — you can tell it comes from the heart. " She placed her hand upon her chest. " And that always matters MOST of all. " Opening one of the drawers of her desk, she produced an envelope, wax and a seal. They had hoped to remain somewhat unnoticed, then again maybe it was foolish of them to think they would not be recognised among a group of people so POLITICALLY inclined. Imari half expected the Chantry to start handing out wanted posters with their name and face on them. One of these days they'd try and nail them down for heresy or some other figment that conveniently fit the narrative they were spinning about them. Though whatever this .. young man? Boy? Had to do with all of this was a mystery to them. If getting lucky in recognising them had been all he had done maybe they would have simply brushed it off. But the more he spoke the DEEPER the ridge between the mage's brows got.

" What in the Maker's name are you on about, boy? " If he was here to try and mock them, he would have to do more than recite a few unsettling words. Whatever this was — it both felt like a massive WASTE of time and yet also something they could not simply cast aside.
