Update

Hello. I've been really busy with work lately. It pretty much takes up most of my time. I have been doing a little bit of art during my limited free time. Been working on original ideas lately… and it's been really nice.

I haven't worked on my original stuff for a long time. I've been mostly doing fanart and fandom projects. And to be honest… I'm kind of burnt out from it. Don't get me wrong, I like doing fanart. It's just I have several original projects that I want to get off the ground. But haven't been able to because I was so tied to working on fandom work.

With that being said, Path of Glory will be on indefinite hiatus. And my Cassette Beasts AU project is cancelled. Sorry for disappointing everyone. I know several of you were excited for the Cassette Beasts project. I'm just really burnt out from working strictly on fanart and fandom projects.

I do fanart for conventions. So those will be posted on this blog. But I will mostly be inactive while I work on my personal projects. Once I get to a place where I feel comfortable, I will probably upload a link to where you can read my comics.

Please respect my decision. And I apologize for any disappointment this has caused.

After drawing Brushroom from Cassette Beasts so much, I felt like making a little mushroom fella. His name is Vio (Pronounced V-eye-oh). He's based off a cortinarius violaceus (Violet webcap). A really pretty species of mushroom.

I get a lot of messages asking me if I take requests. Or people will just throw me a picture of their OC and say they want a drawing from me.

I don't take requests, so please stop asking! I also don't do art trades except during art fight.

I don't want any comments telling me that my prices are too high. You will be ignored and blocked. I spent years underselling myself and being taken advantage of. I'm not doing it anymore. I refuse to work hours on a piece, just to make less than minimum wage in my province.

In my Mystery Dungeon AU, New Wirral not only has human settlements scattered across the island. But also hidden monster settlements. One such settlement is a village hidden in the sky. This village is made up of Clocksley, Pombomb, Kittelly, Brushroom, Sirenade, and Spirouette. All of of whom are watched over by six leaders and their captains.

These are concept designs of the leaders and captains. The captains are distinguished by the star badge each of them wear. A captain is carefully picked out by the leader after demonstrating loyalty, compassion, and leadership. When the leader is ready to retire or they suddenly pass away, the captain will take over the roll as leader. Whether they decide to undergo a remaster transformation is up to them.

This village will also be where Arthur and Riley are given refuge.

I started uploaded pages for my Pokemon comic. It's called The Path of Glory. I wrote this as a fanfiction back in 2019. I finished the rough draft, and then realized I was really bad at improving it. Writing is not something I'm very good at as I have a hard time describing things. Around 2 years ago, I decided I wanted to revive that story as a comic since I have the entire plot written down. There have been revisions here and there, but the core premise is the same.

Once again, if anyone asks for commissions in my comments, you will be reported and blocked by me. Any time I've had a commission, no one just clicks on a drawing I uploaded 5 minutes ago and asks for commission. If anyone actually wants a commission from me, please DM me. If you are not a follower of me for some time, or you haven't interacted with my art at all in a way that makes you seem like a real person, your DM must give me an indication that I'm talking to a real person.

I'm sorry that it has to come to this. I don't understand why Tumblr is unable to crack down on the rampant bot population. Seriously, it is incredibly annoying to receive a message from a bot within 5 minutes of posting new art. It has to stop.

Uh, oh. New hyperfixation unlocked. I played a little game called Cassette Beasts back in November and fell in love. Created an AU of Mystery Dungeon set in the Cassette Beasts universe. And made two OCs to torture be totally nice to and not give them serious trauma or anything.

Like the Mystery Dungeon series, these two are humans stuck in monster form.

First character is Arthur. He's a Brushroom. What sucks is he has serious OCD, and any sticky or weird textures makes him want to constantly wash his hands. Makes working with paint difficult.

Second character is Riley. He's a plant bootleg of a Clocksley so I had an excuse to draw his emo hair. He has a lot of pride, so being a weird toy monster stings just a little bit.

Expect silly little comics of these two in my silly Mystery Dungeon AU. For how long? I dunno. Depends on how long this fixation lasts!

OK, I'm getting increasingly annoyed at all the bots that post on my art. Literally as soon as I post I get bots asking for commissions or trying to trick me into clicking Youtube links.

If you are not a bot, please leave actual thoughtful comments. Otherwise, I will report and block you. I don't want to accidentally do that to a person who is legit. But at this point, I have no choice. So, if you don't want to get reported or blocked, you need to do more than "Are you taking commissions? DM me." or just posting Youtube links without leaving any comments. Same goes for my DMs. Yes, bots can DM people. If you don't give me a reason to trust that you are a real person. I'm not even going to reply. I'm just going to report and block you.

I'm a tired, old lady. I'm not dealing with this crud lol
