Since there seems to be a Tempestus Scions outburst all over my dash I’ll jump the band wagon! The 55th Alphic Hydras aka the Imperial A-Team (or Deadpool’s minions)!

Stormtrooper.
Harakoni Warhawks commissar.
Nauticalia.
One of the many highly trained and devout regiments of the Ordo Tempestus, the 99th Aleutian ‘Seahawks’ hail from an oceanic world interspersed with snaking archipelagos. Trained as elite air assault troops, the Seahawks grav-chute from Valkyries launched from offshore aircraft carriers, ready to deliver the Emperor’s wrath in pinpoint-precision strikes and lightning raids. Though the regiment is not necessarily locked to planets with large bodies of water - a Valkyrie can always launch from a ground base or flying fortress, after all - a Seahawk always feels more at home with the waves beneath his or her feet.
Red and crimson berets mark the elite of the regiment. Granted access to higher than average levels of specialist equipment, these elite-within-elite units tend to favour the sheer firepower of hot-shot volleyguns, able to lay down a punishing fusilade of suppressing fire.
To the astute amongst you, you may notice that these (very much WIP) troopers are certainly not Iron Warriors. Officially, I decided to add a bit more flavour to the blog. Unofficially, blame Robbie MacNiven.
Imperial Guard, Tempestus Scions. Ready to fight the enemies of the Imperium, armed with a melta gun, hotshot volley gun, and my favorite a flamer, for that cleansing fire. Kill one and TEN more shall take his place. FOR THE EMPEROR!
All Pics: Astra Millitarum Imperial Guard Hydra.
Its been finished for a while, but haven’t had time to post it yet. The turret and the guns weren’t glued in because they fit well enough on there own and can be posed better that way.
Tonight I managed to finish the first of my two Drop Sentinels for my Calth Planetary Defence Force. I’m quite pleased with how it looks, really liking getting to grips with weathering techniques on these vehicles. I’ve painted it in the same colours as the Armoured Sentinel I painted a few months ago as I want to use this as the command Sentinel of the squadron. I have one more Sentinel to paint up and the squadron will be complete. Hope you guys like!
Armed with a chainsword, classic weapon of the Imperium, a plasma pistol, and plenty of grenades. Charge and stop for NOTHING! Forward for THE EMPEROR!
Warhammer 40k Astra Militarum Super Heavy Tanks STORMBLADE ARKURIAN PATTERN
Command squad for my Stormtrooper detachment! I love the officer and his pimp cane, even if his coat has some pretty noticeable gaps.
Another 10 foot sloggers, 3 more heavy weapon teams, a commissar and an aegis line with propaganda posters.
Been touching up my Legionairres; Feldgrau, decals, thermogoggles, oh my!
6 out of 8 bane blade variants from one kit. Working on painting it before an apoc game next weekend. I will probably run it as either a shadow sword or storm sword.
Few quick pics of my commissar tank
