for the most part, death has become a triviality for the dark-haired maiden. neveen, being very much associated with the underground scene && with organized crime ( murder, thievery, etc. ) had never a problem with it && would even dare to say that she is fascinated with death itself. since her birth, she had found great interest in human anatomy && therefore, also death. nevertheless, the being wouldn’t even flinch or feel any sort of remorse if a person were to be murdered or brutally slaughtered in front of her eyes. additionally, she had her fair share of people that were killed by her own bare hands ( having a great distaste towards weaponry because murder feels impersonal as soon as there are guns or knives involved ). the only death that had truly shaken her was of adelaide, the mere reason being here that neveen loved the woman ( however, the love was not normal, it was more of an obsession with her profession && behavior). power is also a thing that truly intrigues the female && because of the immense might one can experience when killing someone, it will literally put her in a state of euphoria, that others would often perceive as a sign of insanity. therefore, people constantly try to avoid her.
the bad thing about traveling as much as he does is that he tends to neglect sleep. now, he isn't one to cling, but in a moment of utter sleepiness he has come to drift off into a sudden slumber at the bus. head tilts slowly as he comes to meet with the shoulder of someone, the swede nudging against them as he curls up. he doesn't even seem to mind the relief. ( for anyone !! you !! feel will fit andrew !! )
★ —– tender hands occupied themselves with an aged book, its cover almost in tatters as golden tinted letters displayed the title in ancient writing. adoration was held within amber eyes, shining like stars implanted into a human skull as they observed the pages attentively. every two seconds one could perceive pensiveness replacing the former expression, carving itself into every crevice her countenance provided ( brows furrowing with lips pressed into a thin peach hued line ). it had already been a daily occurrence for passengers to see the frail blonde, however, the sight of such old books were more prominent for their eyes as they were not normality for the common. nevertheless, being the head-librarian of a well-known ( more or less ) archive, it was her duty to be informed about every little detail kept in those tomes she harbored. was it really an obligation ? mostly doing it to her own liking, faelyn wouldn’t care if it wasn’t the case.
engrossed within her own world where only those inked words right before her eyes mattered, she wouldn’t take notice of her surroundings or which crowds she would pass. unnecessary interactions or small talk with strangers weren’t exactly her forté, after all, the maiden would rather stick to her own kind ( those similar to her; behaviour, interests, etc. ). it came as a surprise, tearing her apart from the female’s lovely imaginative world, as sudden weight was applied onto her shoulder. visibly, her head arose with eyes, blank && rid from any prior glow, as they stared ahead. somehow, she did not dare to look to her side, expecting only the worst to have happened, a habit that would take control of her thoughts. seconds would pass, perceiving movements to her side that definitely came from the weight ( the source still unknown &&frightening ). few deep breaths were taken, shaking her core with tranquility. slowly, her head would turn to the side, with care && to not cause any kind of disturbance.
golden eyes widened upon the realization that the incident was far from harmful; at least on a physical level. the female was cautious, observing the male that had fallen asleep, head bedded upon her shoulder, probably in a lovely world of slumber, similar to that she had been ripped from. a gentle expression sunk into her rosy features, a delicate smile tugging at her own lips, somehow sympathizing with this complete stranger. she, too, would fall asleep in odd situations && places ( obviously for utterly different reasons ), leaving her somewhat defenseless to others. abruptly, worries came cascading from above onto her about this male’s situation, leaving her sunken into those as she only sat there. seconds would pass once more, finally taking matters into her own hands as a hand was extended, rickety it was, of course, but somewhat steady to accomplish a simple task. her hand was small, soft && gentle as she placed it upon his leg && shook it slightly, with care not to hurt him in this process. as she spoke, one could hear the uncertainty but the warmth, nonetheless, was present.
‘ um—–i’m sorry….b-but you shouldn’t fall asleep here…because you could miss your station && yeah…’
