Could you please do something (like some Headcanons) about Aragorn, Faramir, Boromir and Eomer protecting their s/o from their abusive brother who's tracked them down or something? And maybe things get physical and the brother attacks her, but the boys fight him off.
Things are really rough in my house right now, I don't want to trigger anyone so I don't want to go into details. My brother is an alcoholic who's not taking being kicked out super well, so I could definitely use a comfort Imagine since I'm really scared of him. A/N: Hey Ro! You didn’t upset me so no worries! I’m really sorry things have gotten rough at home, I hope things get better! ❤️ I separated this into two parts cause I really wanted to get atleast two of the HC to you ASAP
Aragorn
You met Aragorn during his time as a Ranger. About three months before the Fellowship formed
He stumbled upon your cottage one late afternoon, seriously injured after a run in with orcs
It scared you, seeing a bloodied, dirty man on your front doorstep, but nonetheless, you swallowed your fear and helped him
Ever since that fateful day, you two became quick friends.
When he left for Bree it saddened you, as you knew you wouldn’t see him for some time.
However, before he left, Aragorn gave you a gift. A promise that he would return. He gave you one of his many rings.
For over a year, you awaited his return and when he did, the two of you had a teary reunion
Not long afterwards, at the crowning of the king, he courted you.
Okay now straight to the point
One evening, you were walking the halls of the palace, greeting the workers and soldiers along the way. Making small talk
You turned the corner, deciding to make your way to the library when you spot your Brother
Pure fear freezes you in your spot, heart beating so hard it makes your ears rush and head spin
Before you could turn around to avoid him, He noticed you and immediately, a look of anger paints his face.
“You know.. you’re a hard person to track”
Your mouth goes dry, and throat tightens. Not replying to his comment.
Your Brother snarls, pissed at your silent demeanor
“What? Cat got your tongue?” He steps closer, only 4 feet away from you.
You stutter, “there- there is nothing to say.”
“BULLSH*T”
He continues to yell at you, about how you abandoned the family, ruined his life. How you were a coward to be damned
You couldn’t do anything except stammer out short replies, tears welling up in your eyes
After a while, he seemed to calm down just slightly. Not yelling anymore but taking deep breaths, panting.
You spoke up after relaxing just a bit, hoping it may diffuse the situation. But it didn’t
Next thing you know, a fist is flying straight at you, making you panic and flinch back but it never hit you
You opened your eyes, and Aragorn was there. Standing right in front of you protectively, holding your brothers fist in his right hand
And boy did he look pissed
Aragorn tossed your brothers fist off to the side, standing tall and looking down at him
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you” His voice came out strong and threatening.
The two men shared aggressive words when your brother started swinging at him
However, Aragorn having many years of experience, took him down with ease in just a few movements
Once your brother landed roughly onto the ground, guards immediately came rushing forward and grabbed him, picking him up
They lifted him to his feet, until he was eye level with Aragorn, who had fire in his eyes
As much as he wanted to beat the man, he couldn’t. For he had to remain regal
So instead, he ordered the guards to send him to the dungeons, where his fate will then be decided in a few days time after assaulting the Queen
After the whole fiasco of your brother showing up, Aragorn cancels any events or plans the two of you had for the day and instead spent the rest of the day together in your chambers
Boromir
Boromir was one of the most social royals in Gondor since childhood
He would go around helping whenever and wherever he could without getting in trouble with his Father
Everyone knew him, and he knew everyone
So one day when you moved into what used to be an old flower shop, he was curious and wanted to get to know you
Boromir visited you at least once every two weeks, sometimes even more than that
The two of you became really good friends, always laughing and teasing each other on the days he visited
Slowly but surely, he started to visit more, and more… and more to the point it was almost everyday
Then one day, he disappeared
It wasn’t until a month later did you find out that he had to leave for Rivendell
And it wasn’t until almost a whole year later before Aragorn’s Coronation did you see him again
When Boromir spotted you amongst the crowd he got so ecstatic that he was almost pushing people to get to you
The two of you had such a cute reunion, giant grins on both of your faces as you guys hugged tightly
Unfortunately, he had to leave to go back to his position in line during the coronation. But he made sure to promise to see you again during the party
A promise that you held onto tightly
The end of the coronation came, and the celebration began
You couldn’t find Boromir amongst all the people, and quite frankly, it was getting a bit overwhelming in the ballroom
So you left to get a breather, making your way to the large overlook
(that place that D*nethor fell off lol)
The smell of cherry blossoms filled your senses as the sun shined brightly over you, it was peaceful
But the peace didn’t last
“There you are- I’ve been looking everywhere for you” a scarily familiar voice states behind you
You whipped around, only to find your brother standing right there
He started to speak again, going on and on about how terrible of a person you are
How he’s going to get his revenge and ruin everything you love like you did to him (spoiler alert you didn’t ruin anything)
You were silent the entire time, eyes wide and panicked. Even if you did want to say something, your voice wouldn’t allow it
Apparently he didn’t like how silent you were, and began to get aggressive. Getting all up in your face
It seemed as though he was hoping that the more aggressive he got, the more of a reaction he’d receive
Which he did receive a reaction, but it wasn’t the one he wanted
In his rage, he saw red and grabbed you by the front of your top, slamming you back against the stone wall
You yelled as Pain erupted in your back, when suddenly the pressure against your chest was gone and you fell to your knees
Looking up, you saw Boromir in front of you, protecting you from the view of your brother
The two of them swung and dodged a few punches before Boromir landed a nasty hit, bringing your brother down to the ground- out cold
As soon as Boromir knew that he wasn’t getting back up, he quickly turned around to help you up
He gently looked you over, making sure there were no injuries on your body aside from possibly a bruised back
Once he knew there were no other injuries, he cupped your cheek with a touch just barely there
“You okay, darling?”
you nodded numbly, too shocked from what just happened to speak up
For the rest of the day, Boromir stuck by your side with a hand on your lower back. Constantly looking your way in concern
He also would ask if you were sure you still wanted to attend, especially after what just occurred.
Eventually you caved in, confessing you want to go home and rest
So he walked you home, making jokes and telling stories of his travels, how much he missed you and even brought you a trinket
Upon arriving at your doorstep, you hesitated before asking if he wanted to come in
