BTS Ideal Partners - Juno Reading
*Disclaimer: This is an analysis of the members’ natal charts. It is not meant to dig into their private lives or to make assumptions about their relationships. This reading is purely for entertainment, to teach about astrology, and to offer a different perspective on the members’ personalities. Please be respectful of them!! With that in mind, let’s continue with the reading!
Juno is one of the four major asteroids in astrology. She represents marriage and partnerships, the give-and-take dynamic in a relationship, fairness, and balance. You can think of her similarly to Libra’s energy in a chart. She can reveal the kinds of long-term relationships we’re drawn to, the benefits and struggles around these relationships, and how strongly an individual may value marriage. When positively aspected in a chart, Juno can bring loyalty, fairness, and a feeling of satisfaction with the partnership. When negatively aspected, she can indicate power struggles, manipulation, and even infidelity. That said, let’s take a look at the BTS members’ Juno placements!
Namjoon- Juno in 1st House Scorpio
Namjoon’s Juno resides in Scorpio in his 1st house. It also strongly conjuncts Venus, with another wider conjunction to Jupiter.
Marriage is a VERY important goal for Namjoon. He’s very motivated to engage with a long-term relationship, and with a trine to Saturn, he’s incredibly loyal. He’s looking for a lasting partnership and he expects this same loyalty and effort to be mirrored back to him from his partner.
With the conjunction to Venus, fairness and balance within the relationship will be very important to him. He would really enjoy a partner who is as interested in the arts as he is. Dating/marrying Namjoon would absolutely involve many outings to art galleries, concerts, and bookstores, as well as subsequent conversations about these experiences and topics.
Juno in Scorpio is a very intense, passionate placement. Remember that Scorpio is a fixed water sign which thrives off of intimacy and a lack of secrets between partners. Namjoon wants to know everything about his partner down to the darkest of details, and he wants to feel safe in expressing the most hidden sides of himself as well.
Under stress, this placement can indicate possessive, jealous, and manipulative relationships, though I don’t worry about this manifesting in a largely unhealthy way in Namjoon’s case due to the positive contacts with Venus and Jupiter. These will act to soften any challenges which may come up for him.
With this placement occurring in his 1st house, his partnerships greatly correlate with his sense of identity. He feels that he’s the best version of himself within the give-and-take of a stable relationship. His partner will bring out the best aspects of his personality which will boost his confidence to a new level. He appears to shine even more when he’s in a healthy partnership, and this is mirrored by the Jupiter conjunction.
Due to the presence of Scorpio here, he’s more likely to want to keep his relationship as private and hidden as possible. That said, within his private life he very much wears his heart on his sleeve. He’ll make sure that those closest to him know how he feels toward them.
Seokjin- Juno in 5th House Cancer
Seokjin’s Juno resides in his 5th house in Cancer, opposite Uranus and square Jupiter. Not only is Seokjin highly motivated to enter a long-term relationship, but he’s also very inclined to start a family with his partner.
Both Cancer and the 5th house rule over children, the home, and family life, indicating that Jin would be a very nurturing and protective father. Unsurprisingly, as the 5th house rules fun, games, and comedy, he’s definitely a goofy dad/husband as well! His kids would find him hilarious and a lot of fun to spend time with.
His Juno opposite Uranus and squaring Jupiter indicates a bit of a struggle between his need for a close-knit, nurturing family life along with his need for independence and adventure. His partner would be smart to keep him on his toes and actively plan fun adventures for the entire family, as this helps to provide balance between these two placements.
They’d also have to respect his space and his own personal goals whenever he feels the need to step away from the family, whether this be to pursue career goals or simply to visit his distant friends. His strongest motivation is indeed centered around his home life, but he’ll occasionally need to stray from it for short periods of time in order to keep this bond in its strongest and healthiest form.
His Juno in Cancer indicates a need for a strong emotional connection with his partner. He’s surprisingly sensitive and soft-hearted in a relationship, and he’ll always put his lover and family first. He’d do well with a sensitive partner who is attentive to his emotional needs and who can gently draw this side of him out. He looks for a sense of stability and nurturance in a partner, allowing him to feel safe and secure in embracing all of the lovely feelings this relationship will bring.
His Juno in the 5th house adds a playful, humorous, and lighthearted element to his relationships. Given his jokester tendencies this will come as a surprise to nobody, but Jin certainly enjoys keeping a happy and bright mood within the household. He can always be counted on to uplift a dreary atmosphere.
Since the 5th also rules over creativity, he’ll also encourage his family to express themselves through all kinds of creative outlets. His kids would likely grow up with music, theater, acting, dancing, and/or visual arts as regular hobbies.
Yoongi- Juno in 4th House Cancer
Yoongi, much like Seokjin, also values a partnership with a strong emotional connection and a lot of nurturing within his private life. He’s also very motivated to build a home and family with his partner.
Yoongi’s Juno conjuncts his Mars here, indicating that this goal of creating a home life with somebody he loves is a strong motivating force for him. He’s definitely not looking for casual relationships, rather he’ll be drawn to somebody with a laid-back and grounded energy with whom he can feel comfortable being himself. After all, he’s approaching his relationships with the hopes of finding somebody to create a home with, so he’ll want to feel comfortable simply sharing a space with them and moving through mundane daily routines together.
Yoongi also struggles to share his feelings with those closest to him, so he’d need a partner who is patient with his sensitive moods and who he perceives to be safe. He definitely wouldn’t enjoy somebody who brags about the details of their relationship in public, rather, he prefers to keep their home life secretive and safe from prying eyes. He’d need somebody who also values his privacy in this way.
With his Juno opposite his Midheaven, he’ll feel torn between spending time with his family and dedicating his time toward advancing his career. It might take him a little while to find proper balance between the both and it could be a reoccurring theme which bothers him from time to time, so he’d need his partner to be understanding of both priorities in his life.
Hoseok- Juno in 8th House Scorpio
Hoseok, much like Namjoon, will be looking for a deep, intimate connection with his Juno in Scorpio in the 8th house. He’ll be drawn to a partner with whom he feels a deep, magnetic attraction. Once they’ve caught his eye, his natural curiosity will push him to learn more about this person. He’ll enjoy somebody who can engage in deep conversation with him and who will open up to him more and more as trust builds. There’s a strong healing, transformative energy here, so he’ll be intrigued by anybody who seems to know him better than he knows himself and who can guide him through his most challenging moments.
He’s motivated to marry for a sense of security, but he might have a bit of a jealous streak. He wants his partner to be deeply devoted to him before marriage is even on the table. Loyalty and trust are important themes for him.
His Juno trines his Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Aquarius, indicating that his partner will help to bring out all of the unique facets of his personality. He enjoys a lot of communication in a relationship, and he also enjoys exploring the arts in all of their forms with. He’s also definitely going to be into couple’s fashion, so hopefully his partner would have a similar fashion taste as him, haha.
Aquarius is a very curious sign which sometimes has a reputation for being emotionally detached. In his private life, I expect that Hobi’s water placements would allow him to be a lot more open and vulnerable with his partner, but this might not translate into his public and social life. His partner would have to be aware of the different sides of his personality as well as the best times to try to engage with him in a serious conversation or emotional topic, as he’s not always comfortable diving into these things at the drop of a hat. Like Yoongi, his private and public lives are quite separate.
Due to his naturally curious nature, he’d also value somebody who can mentally engage with him and who’ll enjoy learning and exploring new things by his side. These two would really keep each other on their toes!
Jimin- Juno in 6th House Sagittarius
Jimin’s Juno resides in his 6th house in Sagittarius, with some challenging aspects between Pluto and Uranus.
With his Juno in Sag, Jimin enjoys a fun, adventurous, and inspiring relationship. Sagittarius rules over philosophy, higher learning, and foreign travel, so Jimin is going to cherish a partner who will explore the world with him and glean meaning and inspiration throughout their adventures together.
With this Juno also residing in his 6th house, he appreciates a partner who will care about his health and daily schedules, encouraging him when he’s feeling down or unwell, and who will generally look out for him when need be. He enjoys feeling like he’s got a “partner in crime“- somebody who will inspire and entertain him, all while watching out for each other in their day-to-day lives.
Jimin would greatly benefit from having a partner on tour with him. He’d feel super loved and cared for by having someone to look out for his health and help him when he’s exhausted (either by making him tea after a long concert, giving him a massage for his sore muscles, or simply cheering him up with some silly jokes or a lighthearted story). Even his mundane schedules and long practice hours feel much more exciting when he’s got a supportive and fun partner by his side. Tour schedules also allow for a lot of traveling, a constant change of scenery, and many new places to explore together, which he and his partner would enjoy.
Jimin’s Juno also forms some minor challenging aspects with his Pluto and Uranus, which could lead to some possessive and jealous energies in his relationships. He might be drawn to distant sorts of partners who can’t fulfill his need for a deep and loyal connection, or he might simply come across as too controlling of those he loves. He’s got great intentions, but his partnerships have the capabilities to bring up old insecurities and trigger some tough feelings, especially if the partners he’s choosing aren’t the devoted type.
When both partners are deeply committed to each other and trust in each other’s loyalty, they have the capability to form a deeply healing and transformative bond in which both people are constantly growing into a better version of themselves.
Taehyung- Juno in 2nd House Capricorn
Taehyung’s Juno falls in his 2nd house in Capricorn, right in the midst of his natal stellium. He’s got a LOT of energy going on in this area of chart, so his Juno manages to form pretty close conjunctions with Mercury, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune, as well as a square to his Moon.
Phew, lots to cover here! To start off, Tae’s Juno in his 2nd house indicates a “slow but steady” approach to marriage. He’s in no hurry to rush things along, as he feels that marriage is a huge commitment and he intends to find the right person before making that decision. That said, he’s incredibly loyal, so there’s no worries of him ever straying from his partner without serious strife to motivate it.
He’s very patient with his partner, and he shows his love through a lot of practical means. Tae is definitely the type to treat his partner with all kinds of sweet gifts, as well as helping them in any way that he can. They’ve had a stressful day at work? He’s ordering half the menu from their favorite take-out restaurant for dinner, and he’ll draw the most luxurious bath for them to enjoy afterwards (think bath bombs, flower petals, candles, soft jazz music, the whole 9 yards).
His Juno in Capricorn and conjunct Mars tells us that he’d like a partner with whom he can create shared long-term goals. He’d value and respect personal, independent goals as well, but he really wants to make sure that his partner is on the same page as him when it comes to their future together. This partnership could also have major potential for starting some kind of business or career endeavor together as a couple!
Juno conjunct Neptune also places some value upon the sharing of dreams, no matter how unrealistic. That said, with his 2nd house as packed as it is, he definitely has the potential for manifesting any of his dreams into reality. But sometimes he’d enjoy simply dreaming, creating, even escaping into other worlds with his partner. He’d like somebody who has a creative mind and can understand the more fantastical sides of his personality.
Juno conjunct Mercury and Uranus places an emphasis on open, honest communication. Taehyung needs lots of communication in order to feel secure and to make sure that his partner is on the same page as himself. He’d also melt over an old-fashioned, hand-written love letter or art created just for him. I really think he’d enjoy unique, creative, handmade gifts from those he loves. In general, a sharing of ideas, dreams, and creativity is valued within this relationship.
Taehyung’s Juno squaring his Moon indicates that his practical mind doesn’t always line up with his feelings in a relationship. He might be torn between somebody who meets all of his standards on paper but doesn’t spark the same feelings in his heart, or, he might struggle to find balance between his career goals and his private life. Aligning his emotions with his practicality would be one of his biggest relationship challenges.
Jungkook- Juno in 11th House Leo
Jungkook’s Juno resides in his 11th house in Leo, widely conjunct his Moon and trine his Saturn.
This is another member who strongly values loyalty. Leo is a fixed fire sign, invoking lots of passion with little chance of it burning out. Saturn rules long-term commitments, so you know that when Jungkook finds somebody he truly cares about, there’ll be no turning back for him.
Leo rules over the arts and performance, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Jungkook were to marry somebody within his industry or at least another artist of some kind. He’d love engaging in art and creativity in all of its forms with his partner, and having somebody else in his life who’s also creative-minded would be attractive to him.
Leo is a sign which enjoys being in the spotlight, so his partner can’t expect him to give up performing entirely in favor of family matters. There must be space for both within his relationships.
He’d also feel most fulfilled with a partner who looks up to him and both praises & encourages him for his work. Leo placements love to be admired, and he likes to know that his partner views him in high regard. His confidence could grow vastly within a relationship like this.
With his Juno in the 11th house, he might very well meet his partner through a mutual friend, or they might initially begin their relationship as friends before growing into something more. Regardless, it would be important that their friends and social circles all got along well, as he’d enjoy hanging out with both his & his partner’s friends on a regular basis. The more, the merrier!
I could also see Jungkook having a massive wedding when the time comes. Leo is a very showy sign which has the potential to enjoy the romance, glamor, and theatrics of a large wedding, and with the 11th house involved, you could expect MANY friends and extended relatives to attend. These themes could absolutely manifest in a smaller, more subdued setting as well, but the combo of this sign and house make me think it’d be quite the affair, haha.
Jungkook’s Juno also forms a loose contact with his Moon here in Leo, so just like many of the other members, he’d likely want a strong emotional bond to balance out his more laid-back, adventurous side with his partner. This moon also has the potential to motivate a desire for a family, and his relationship with his kids would be similar to Seokjin’s- both soft & tender as well as playful and goofy.
That's all for now, I hope you've enjoyed!! <3
