Richard "Dick" Grayson-Queen - Green Arrow
The Flying Graysons die at their show at Star City and not Gotham City. Oliver and Roy were at the show, and Oliver decided to take him under his wing alongside Roy.
He trained him with a bow, but even though he was good, it wasn't matching with his acrobatic fighting style, so he switched to the crossbow.
Known as the first duo of sidekicks, Robin and Speedy were the best duo. Even after they grow out of their first mantle and become Arsenal and Hunter.
Cassandra "Cass" Kent - Superman
Lois found her in the time period where Clark was dead and took her under her wing and into her house since she was just a kid. When Clark came back, he discovered that he apparently now had a daughter, which was… good! They officially adopted her, and he trained her and took her as his sidekick.
Known as Supergirl after Kara gives her her mantle to become Superwoman, she has a costume that mimics some super powers. Most people don't know she isn't a Kryptonian, especially because Lex hates her as much as the next one.
She's Kon's "twin sister" and Jon's big one.
Kon and she are the super duo known as Supergirl and Superboy.
Jason Todd - Constantine.
John found Jason in the streets. Jason saw him make magic and wanted to learn, but John said no. So Jason stole one of his books (John knew), and the two of them separated.
One time when John came back to Gotham, he found Jason again, who had learned quite a bit with just one book, so he picked him up like a stray cat and started traveling with him.
Jason was raised as a magician by John, who took him traveling with him, and eventually Zatana helped raise him, which was quite welcome.
With John, they form J&J INC. Call them if it's magic-related.
Master of All Blades is the good to go for magic things, I mean, he was taught by John and Zatana.
Stephanie "Steph" Brown - Green lanterns
One day after successfully stopping a crime as Spoiler, Steph received a Green Lantern ring, and Hal Jordan was called to be her mentor.
They work together quite well as a duo. Hal wasn't really the duo type, but with Steph, his little sister, it was pretty good.
Working and bickering like siblings, time passed, and Steph became fantastic. She loved the corps, working in space, and her power. Without forgetting her, and Hal also becoming very close, which hurts further when he dies.
When the Parallax thing happened, Steph was devastated, her big brother had just died, and she couldn't believe it. But she wasn't stopping, she got back on her feet and became the main Green Lantern of the Justice League.
Sharing this position when Hal eventually returns, much to her delight.
Timothy "Tim" Drake - Blue Beetle
Tim's parents got him a stage at Kord Industries, where he met Ted Kord, who saw great potential in him, both for business and for heroic things.
They started working together as CEO and assistant, and when Ted could finally trust him, he started training him as a sidekick. (Yes, Tim knew who he was.)
Tim was good, really good, and to the surprise of Ted, he was chosen by the Blue Beetle Scarab.
Deciding to become just Beetle, Beetle and Blue Beetle worked together as mentor and sidekick first, then as a team, and later they separated a bit, not for bad reasons, just Tim growing up and needing more independence. He is still Ted's protégé, and Ted is still his mentor.
When Duke's parents were Jokerized, they died, he was therefore placed in a foster home while still a minor. Then, surprisingly, he was adopted by the same family as Billy Thompson, and he became a member of the Shazam family.
As the oldest, he became a sort of big brother for the family.
When his power developed, it was surprising and new, making him the first Shazam to have power without screaming SHAZAM! But with or without his light power, he's an excellent member of the Shazam family.
The death of his parents is sad, and he will mourn them forever, but he is happy with his new family.
Damian Al-ghul-Prince - Wonder woman
Damian was in danger in the league, and Talia couldn't let her baby be hurt. She couldn't take him to Bruce since he would still be in danger, and the league could find him.
She decided to contact her old friend Diana and to give her son to her when he was 9. Diana accepted, and Damian was raised on Themyscira by the Amazons.
Raised by them, he developed a fighting style more like that of the Greeks. He now has a xiphos instead of a katana, a shield that unfolds on his arm, and a lasso with a dagger at the end attached to his waist.
Known as Wonderboy, you can see him helping the different Wonder Girls/Wonder Women, his sisters.
He still has a pretty good relationship with his mother, who comes to see him when she can. Neither Damian nor Diana knows he's the son of Batman.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, but I love it!
