Hi, y’all!
I know I very rarely log in these days, but I wanted to share my first (real, grown-up) poetry collection, HALLOWEEN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY. This has been a work-in-progress for two years now, and I’m extremely excited to be sharing it with everyone. HALLOWEEN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY is a collection about what it’s like to exist as a working-class Appalachian during late capitalism; what it’s like to lie awake thinking about my own death -- a death likely brought on by the stressors and conditions under which we all live; and, of course, what it’s like to be in love with someone who has the ability to make it seem, for even a moment, as if everything will still be alright.
Please take the time to share/support a broke, queer, cornbread commie.
