That game was perfect for an open world and the love and care put into the fucking environment and story was phenomenal. It may not have been the most convoluted but what it did show through the scraps and pieces that survived the calamity was BEAUTIFUL. The struggle with roles and the pressure of being the only ones capable of stopping a disaster but youre both NOT READY and instead of helpjng them you push them more into their roles causing such INTENSE PERSONAL FAILURE and the loss of everything you know and yourself yet PROSPERING AND CONTINUING ON BECAUSE OF IT is ingrained into every single corner of the map. The wild beauty the solemn ruins the struggle of finding out who you used to be and who you sre NOW.... the game is based on identity and rebuilding yourself....... god i love botw. Too bad totk hates it
