Woman Charged With Criminal Mischief for Giving Water to Thirsty Animals

On June 22nd, Anita Krajnc approached a stationary slaughterhouse transportation truck outside the Fearman’s Pork Inc. slaughterhouse in Burlington, a city in the greater Toronto area. She squeezed water out of a bottle into the truck for the thirsty animals inside. The truck driver left his vehicle and told her to stop giving the pigs water. While Anita refused to stop, he told her, “No, you know what, these are not humans, you dumb frickin’ broad.” Anita repeatedly asked him to, “Have some compassion,” as the pigs continued guzzling up the water, and the truck driver threatened her, “You do it again, and I’ll slap it out of your hands.” Eventually, the driver returned to his truck and left without any physical altercation.

On September 9th, a police officer came to Anita’s house to issue her a summons for the charge of criminal mischief for giving water to the pigs.

I didn't like that Emma tolled Regina to side this one out in the final. Regina didn't do anything for Emma to do that. I think that Regina was right to be mad at Emma. What do you think?

No I didn’t like it either. I found it to be insensitive and her reasoning shallow. It’d have made total sense for her to do that 2 years ago but after everything Regina’s done to prove herself, after Regina just went to hell and back again to help Emma through her own heartbreak, and after Regina jumped to team up and help the Rumple situation amidst her heartbreak, her benching Regina wasn’t warranted. Particularly considering she should know that Regina’s always been isolated during her heartbreak before and it wasn’t good for her.

The lack of trust felt regressive from where their friendship should have been at by this point.

So I disagree. Emma’s concern was valid. Emma wanted Regina to benched because she feared the evil queen would reemerge--I sympathize. The possibility is ALWAYS there. We saw later in the episode when she confessed it was fighting that it was there.

I definitely side with Regina though when I say that she had it under control. But it was a valid concern on Emma’s side.
