To update you guys on my absence ; I've been going through quite the writing slump when it comes to this blog, especially with so much stress going on in my life at the moment, but to be honest the show yesterday inspired me again! I've been writing here for about 2 years I think? Maybe more, so I just needed a small break, but I hope to be back soon! For now only @svt-meiying is active and I think that the next few posts on here are going to be focused on Mingi & Himari (also a lot more spaced out than the rate at which I used to post)

Hello! I know you’re taking a short break so the response doesn’t have to be very detailed if you don’t want for it to be! I hope you are able to move safely and without any trouble! I was just wondering if any of Himari’s idol friends went to see the In Your Fantasy concert and what their thoughts were on it? I saw Ateez perform in Atlanta Thursday and it was fantastic! Looking forward to all of your future content and I hope your move goes as planned🫶

Hiii, sorry this took so long but I think I'm physically unable to write down my ideas simply when you guys make me think of things- The move was very tiring especially because I had to move boxes in this heat with my tiny twig muscles, but otherwise I'm getting settled in pretty quickly, thank you 🫶

Taemin ; The maknae's mentor constantly shows up for his protégé no matter what so it came as no surprise that he was in attendance, filming nearly every one of her solo parts to post on his social media accounts later that night. Respecting their own personal tradition, he showed up backstage with flowers and rambled on about just how incredibly confident she had become in more sensual dancing styles (though ignoring that it was thanks to his mentoring). PROUD DAD!

Hanzo & Yoongi ; Despite the vocalist warning her older brothers that the performances were going to be much more sensual than the previous tour they still insisted on coming to support their baby, and they were immersed until the 'Blind' lap dance that she forgot to tone down-. Neither of them truly knew whether they should be crying or covering their eyes during her 'I Don't Understand' performance so all the men did was sit there awkwardly next to each other - though they cheered the loudest out of anyone in the venue when it was over. It was most definitely a roller coaster for the brothers as one second they were fawning over her incredible performance skills, and the next they were covering their mouths in shock as she danced suggestively with the members, especially her fiancé.

The young woman had not seen her biological brother in some time due to his residence abroad, so the siblings were nearly inseparable even when the staff was attempting to tell their maknae she needed to take her makeup off. It was the same situation with Yoongi as they had not seen one another since his discharge, so she sat between her brothers on the couch, holding both of their hands as she rambled on about little details from the concert.

BTS ; It was inevitable that they would be present since they were disappointed at just how much they missed during their service, and they truly gave their all to supporting the group's official little sister, several videos catching them screaming louder than fans whenever she demonstrated more mature moves. The members purchased the maknae's basketball jersey in advance along with her light stick cover to truly deck themselves out in 'Himari', even bringing along signs that they took time to bedazzle so they would truly stand out on camera - warning the venue staff in advance so their hard work could be filmed. J-Hope and Himari had very suggestive partner work not too long ago so the younger members took the opportunity to tease them while on the big screen, recreating the stage that had shocked many - though quickly regretting it when she began dancing that very part to tease them back.

Seungcheol, Soonyoung, Jihoon, Minghao, Mingyu & Chan [ SVT ] ; They each had separate reasons to attend but in the end they truly enjoy watching the vocalist in her element and missed seeing that raw passion stand out under the lights. Attempts were made to dissuade Mingyu in light of the young woman's somewhat recent engagement announcement but he would not budge, though the way his fist clenched around the light stick during partner work with her fiancé was very obvious even from afar. Overall however they visibly enjoyed the concert, though going completely still in surprise during the first few suggestive choreographies as no one had given them prior warnings concerning the contents of this concert

ENHYPEN ; The main reason behind their attendance was to support their producer and some members even brought handmade signs with cute messages that were later shown on the large screen - to which she responded by signing 'love you' and blowing them kisses. When ATEEZ performs on public platforms such as award shows, they tend to be much more tame so the artists were surprised when witnessing that side of Himari in person. Heesung later went live to tell fans about the concert, encouraging them to purchase tickets, placing a heavy focus on his friend's ability to command the stage with one simple gaze.

BOYNEXTDOOR & Zico ; The boys were originally supposed to attend by themselves as no one knew that other members were also planning on purchasing tickets to the tour, and when the topic casually came up they decided to sit together. Riwoo was the one who came up with the brilliant idea of dragging their CEO to the concert by saying that it was a way to thank their producer, so after an hour of begging he caved in.

XIKERS ; Poor babies had no idea what was coming once those red lights turned on and to say they were flustered when she sat down on her fiancées lap would be an understatement (Yechan tried to cover Sumin's eyes). They were used to the other aspects of choreography since they had gotten used to sitting down in the studio as their seniors practiced so they could see what polished idols' performance looked like but they had never truly witnessed Himari's stage persona in action. Some of them left confused as to whether MinAri were truly engaged as her flirtatious nature under the lights was seducing almost everyone, including her own members during partnered work.

That's the main list! There were a few more idols in attendance but these were the main ones that were noticed by fans! Also I'm glad you had fun! I'm actually going to see them in Arlington on August 16th so I'm sooooo excited 🤭 I still have to pick out my outfit though (of course Mingi themed). I did a 'Rocky' themed outfit for my first concert last year so now I just have to choose the era! I don't think I'll do 'In Your Fantasy' or 'Lemon Drop', maybe 'Halazia' since it was my favorite comeback

I've actually tied 'Fake Love' to them since creating their relationship because most of the lyrics are the speaker expressing just how much they would give up simply out of love for the other person - though they might not be loved back. Yoongi did everything the track talks about ; tried to hide his true emotions no matter how negative they might have been, found strength in the darkest places just to keep her happy, lied countless times to shield her from the world, and made flowers bloom in places that were in truth filled with thorns. In the end though he still couldn't hide his 'weaknesses' because she always found him during his darkest hours, it was always that wide eyed little girl that called out his name

Himari was Yoongi's first love. The maknae was no more than a newborn when they met for the first time and although the rapper hesitated when her biological brother asked if he wanted to hold the babbling baby, the moment her tiny finger wrapped around his own he felt something in his chest. No one truly knew why, even to this day, but he began crying as his arms wrapped tightly around her.

Despite not being related in any sense to the girl, he began taking on the role of older brother ; glaring at anyone that so much as cooed at her, holding hands in public while Hanzo held on to the other, teaching her how to play basketball before she could develop motor skills, etc. Then she became his responsibility, his to raise, and although he would never express this, it was one of the hardest things he had to do. He was in the midst of building an entire group's career from the ground up, he was in the darkest instances of his life, and yet he had this bright eyed little girl waiting for him at home as though he was her father. He was 19 and convinced that he would die for her, but in the end he did something much harder : forced himself to live for her.

In Your Fantasy Replay [2] ;

Mingi was revealed by certain members to have teared up at his fiancée's 'I Don't Understand' performance despite the choreography being rather sensual due to the entrancing nature of the track's sound. While nothing much was said during the ment to either confirm or deny these accusations, the couple went live later that day and the topic just so happened to resurface as viewers had been frustrated with the lack of an answer.

Mingi then explained that their relationship had been somewhat complicated at the beginning due to Hima's hearing difficulties , which forced them to find ways to convey love other than verbally. With the rapper being very energetic, it began to feel as though they were worlds apart when she needed to be left in silence, and most miscommunication was due to this barrier. Mingi failed to understand why his fiancée was somehow unresponsive despite being visibly well, and Hima never mentioned the difficulties in speaking to him in this state.

Through this song, Mingi clearly heard the separation of their worlds but was more moved by the words 'I don't understand but I love you' because they were so heavy on the both of them. It took them several years and even now they struggle with the barrier, but they learned to communicate non-verbally so that it means something to the both of them, and Hima learned ways to cushion the blow brought by her fiancé's endearing noise. The track served as closure for the both of them regarding this undoubtedly heavy issue, and the way she looked at him with the brightest smile while singing the chorus was the last straw for his heart, so he started crying.

Hima was the one that tied Mingi's hair into a ponytail backstage when they were waiting for the final checks to finish getting ready - she often needs to keep busy to avoid stimulation since they remove her hearing aid when the mic packs are handed out. It was only out of pure interest that she chose that hairstyle, but she gushed about it so much that he couldn't handle the mere idea of his fiancée being sad at her work going to waste, so he kept it for the concert. The maknae even bragged about it to fans during one of the ments along with the encore, and Mingi was so busy gazing lovingly at her that he forgot his verse numerous times.

Although they don't kiss on stage anymore, the rapper couldn't help himself as he spun the young woman like a princess - grabbing her waist to slot their lips together under the colored confetti . When everyone was finding their own ways to unwind following demanding stages, the engaged couple were surprisingly silent in their own room. Mingi was leaning back against the headboard with his fiancée perched on his lap, several hair charms borrowed from a suitcase laying on the bed as she tried different styles on his hair for the coming concert. Although the rapper is usually rather energetic and loud he learned to stay in comfortable silence with his future wife, finding peace in her simple happiness.

Hii, I watched it the moment the music video was released - because no one needs sleep when ATEEZ is having a comeback, especially not with those delicious previews. This might honestly be my second favorite ATEEZ title track (no one will ever dethrone my queen Halazia in my heart)

Himari's concept would lean into the reputation built by her stage presence ; despite the fact that she looks and acts like an angel, she never fails to seduce those who view their performances, which gives her this demonically deceitful persona. There hasn't been much time to flesh this out so excuse the messy explanation but here are some things that would happen in the music video :

. . A mirror reflecting the maknae with black wings from which feathers are slowly falling to lean into the 'fallen angel' concept. When looking closer, viewers would be able to see her pupils turning blood red just as she smiled

. . Hima walking through the room with those wings dragging across the carpet behind her as red wine meant to represent blood trickles down through the feathers to form a trail. [ To mimic what would happen if wings were ripped from an angel, blood would run down from where their wings were attached ]

. . The vocalist chained down on stage whilst kneeling in red feathers as masked figured approached to examine her like some kind of caged animal ; arms suspended by chains wrapped around both wrist tied to the ceiling, another wrapped around her neck and two wrapped around her bare ankles

. . Hima seducing numerous individuals while stealing what looked to be fragments of the red cube later held by Wooyoung before pulling a man down with a finger hooked under his tie while mouthing the lyrics 'I'm getting in your head' [ smiling to expose her canines as her irises and accident scars both glowed red ]

. . [ Group ] She also had partnered choreography with every single member to truly emphasize this 'temptress' concept

In another world this is Miyi without a care in the world and living their best lives being the best sister duo to exist! The edit is made by me😽😽 I actually had Miyi in mind when I made it!!

They would be the best sisters, omg 🥹 If you think about it, both were adopted into the Min family so they'd be adoptive sisters rather than biological, so Taiyang and Hanzo would also be brothers - to some extent because Taiyang was never adopted. They would be THE coolest family ever so you know what, I'm just gonna word vomit everything in my head because you just made me think of so many things!

The age order would be : Geum Jae (1989), Yoongi (March 1993), Taiyang (November 1993), Hanzo (1996), Meiying (2000) and Himari (2001). Career wise the Mins would have a BTS member, a martial artist/model/actor, the captain of the national soccer team, a SEVENTEEN member, an ATEEZ member.

Meiying and Hima would be best friends since they have so much in common and would definitely be mischievous kitties - pulling pranks on their brothers all the time, plotting how to prank members of their groups and maybe even the media. They would support each other during solo schedules, award shows, movie premiers and any other schedules that they may have and would insist to have schedules or stages together just because they want to spend more time with the other. You'd literally see them in the audience cheering loudly for their sister, with cardboard signs decorated with glitter and everything (and they would cry when the other won a solo award).

I think visually they would be very interesting together as well, I mean come on ; Mei has a blind eye with a scar through it on her left side (plus one down her spine) and Hima has some all along her right side... magazine spreads of them would genuinely be INSANE. And I mean we have to talk about this... their BOYFRIENDS?? Mei dating KIM MINGYU and Hima being engaged to SONG MINGI??? Meiying 100% would smile at her sister after the engagement before pulling Mingi into a room to threaten him that if he ever hurt Hima she would get Taiyang to beat his ass and would use her copyright money to pay off KQ to say it was just an accident- (Edit : Hima would be the biggest shipper of SCoups x Mei AND Joshua x Mei and she'd assume that the three of them are dating but not bother to ask her sister about it, so imagine when she found out that at no point were any of them in a relationship with her-)

In terms of other relationships in the family ; Hima & Taiyang would not be that close since they don't share any history - plus he would only visit his biological sister, but they would still get along well. Meiying & Hanzo would be slightly closer than the other duo since both were adopted so they'd have spent some time alongside each other, but again they don't share much aside from a last name so it would be closer to a relationship that you have with your favorite cousin (they would definitely pull pranks on the other siblings together though). Omg I love this family even tho they don't exist together... THEY WOULD BE SO CUTE

Bb, perhaps may I know what is the original soundtrack for Himari's solo in "In Your Fantasy"? ☺️

I was gonna drop it with the rest of the album unfortunately 😞 but I'm currently drawing a blank on what I want to do as an announcement so I'll drop it here instead! The original track is 'I Don't Understand But I Luv U' by SEVENTEEN's performance unit, I just altered the meaning in the tracklist! The original song - before I deleted the post and re uploaded it with the current one - was 'Puma' by TXT but when you listen to it compared to the other tracks there's something more metallic/unfinished in the production. I don't know how to explain it exactly but it sounds less finished and more rushed than the polished finish of ATEEZ's solos (I think it's because everything in that track is louder to balance with the different elements, there's no real variation of noise except for the female backing vocals, and even then it was made loud as well so it's just at a stagnant volume if that makes sense)

IN CONCLUSION : 'I Don't Understand' by Himari is originally 'I Don't Understand But I Luv You' by SEVENTEEN (very amazing song, you should all stream it). Another contestant was Inspiration by Jonghyun but it definitely didn't fit the album vibes

"Sannie oppa said we would show more maturity during this tour, which is true, but it's not always in the sense that you may interpret it initially. With 'I Don't Understand' what's being shown is an understanding that at times my world strays from people that can hear, it's more distant, so I can't love the way they do, I can't speak how they do, and maturing is finding ways to crack that barrier even just a little, to get through to them without forcing myself to use sound that isolates me. Back then I would throw up in the bathroom every single day because I wanted to be 'normal', I was scared to stray away from the members...so I forced myself to listen, to make noise, and it hurt me, but I was happy as long as we could communicate. Now I've come to the realization that maybe being silent isn't so bad, and even though my fiancé and I are still figuring it out, I feel like I've reached far enough into their world."
