Young Jongho: I was a kid that loved to sing. I went out on a singing competition as a school representative and won first place and won second place in the entire Seoul city. And after that, I went to an academy to learn to sing professionally and then became a trainee. Because all adults in my family are and have been professional sports players, I also thought about becoming one but being a singer became my dream. I don't regret it at all.
Coming over shyness: I used to be extremely shy but fansign events changed me. I met hundreds of fans that I saw for the first time, and because they liked me so much, I was able to get closer to them.
Communication skills: While trying not to hurt others' feelings, I deliver my message and say my opinion. I think that's how my communication skills got better. Maybe I learned these skills when I was a young age (lol)
Be careful of your health!: This is what I hear the most from my parents when I talk to them on the phone. It's because they live far and know that I'm not able to eat meals on time sometimes. I remember sitting at the beach with my dad and just watching the sunset. I won't ever be able to forget that memory.
What is happiness?: Will I be happy if I have a lot of money? Will I be happy if I do well at what I like to do? My thoughts change every day. I'm still trying to find the meaning of happiness.
Burning excitement: It makes me shiver every time I hear the fans' cheers. There were many times when we didn't have enough time to practice for competition shows like Immortal Song and Kingdom due to our intense schedule and a short period of time to prepare for the stages. I'm just glad that the result wasn't as bad as I worried.
Brother: We (his family) used to fight a lot when I was a trainee. Hyungs (members) sometimes get sad because I don't have too much aegyo. I always tell them, "we're a family so why should I do the aegyo?"
Jongho said "가족끼리 뭘?" in the interview = no need for aegyo among family members
I trust that I don't need to tell them and that I don't need to express to them directly for them to know (that I love them). That's how much we understand each other now. But we also don't cross our lines when we joke around. Learning each other's lines is when I realized how well we've gotten to know one another.
What I want to say: There are many things I was to show and many things I do. I'll continue to show my fans different sides of me. It can be through music or even a drama/movie.
Jongho: I want to make sure I become good at what I choose to do.
