Alright, Iām about to unleash a whole lot of irritation and bitterness from things building up over the past few days? āOh, but what could you be so upset about, Pluto?ā LET ME TELL YOU.Ā
Ā How people treat Nanao or have been treating her over the past few days.Ā
Ā Now before I really start, Iām going to clarify some stuff. Yes, I am aware she is not the strongest Bleach character. Yes, I am aware that not everyone is going to like her. Yes, I am aware that even she has her limitations.Ā
Ā However, the treatment, implications and disrespect she has been given over the past few days is totally uncalled for and I will not be tolerating it any longer. Not only does it frustrate and kill my museāit frustrates and makes it hard for me to want to be here and enjoy her.
I am aware that some of it is unintentional, but every time I have brought back this blog has resulted in me having to deal with such a thing. Let me begin with this: Nanao is a Shinigami in a position of powerāa lieutenant. She did not randomly just sayĀ āI want to be oneā and plant her butt in that seat. No, not even close. She worked for it. That itself should be clear enough to anyone who comes into contact with her.
People over the past few days ( extending from the years Iāve actually had her muse on different blogs ) tend to disregard such a thing. People who are her subordinates throw her position of authority out the window and treat her with disrespect. I believe the only people who should be doing that are Shinigami that are lieutenant to captain class and above; enemies ( which includes Arrancar and Quincy of any rank; ) as well as non-Bleach fandom muses. They obviously arenāt going to know her rank and that is fine with me.
What really gets me are her subordinates disregarding her level of power and authority over them. I can understand sometimes it is playful, but many of the times it has occurred it has gone way past that line. I am not tolerating it anymore and neither will she. Nanao will give warnings about such behavior and if it persists, I cannot guarantee aĀ āsafeā thread any long.
Nanao is strong. She does not have traditional Shinigami strength such as wielding theirĀ ZanpakutÅ, but she is a complete master of a skill that many cannot control well at allāKidÅ. Not only is she an expert in it, Nanao creates her own KidÅ ( which was strong enough to hold back the Grandmaster of the Quincy ) and was appointed her position solely because of her skill. She has been fighting years upon years without a bladeāand people continue to disregard that and treat her as weak.
She is extremely smartādangerously so and people continue to treat her as someone not worth anything. Nanao is a strategistāa child prodigy considering how young she was when she became a member of the Gotei 13 ( I actually had a post that proved she was the youngest Shinigami in history, but that was lost on an old blog and will have to be rewritten on a later date. )
This post was long and full of all sorts of stuff, but it needed to be. Iām sorry for having to snap like this or even write this at all, but it was honestly killing my muse and want to continue rping Nanao. Long story shortā
Do not disrespect or mistreat Nanao because sheās more passive. She is in a position of power. Do not undermine her because of her serious and cold behavior. Itās how she is.
