Once you accept that there is a price for success , then the pain becomes tolerable

Starting position: Husband
Sometimes I am unsure of my position. When that happens you can be sure you will be out of position to make a big play.
Ephesians 5
25-28Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They’re really doing themselves a favor—since they’re already “one” in marriage.
29-33No one abuses his own body, does he? No, he feeds and pampers it. That’s how Christ treats us, the church, since we are part of his body. And this is why a man leaves father and mother and cherishes his wife. No longer two, they become “one flesh.” This is a huge mystery, and I don’t pretend to understand it all. What is clearest to me is the way Christ treats the church. And this provides a good picture of how each husband is to treat his wife, loving himself in loving her, and how each wife is to honor her husband.
I've made plenty of errors in my life, nevertheless Christ continues to work through me. NEVER THE LESS
Another piece of advice from Joshua
Joshua 1
I was with Moses, I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you. Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going.
Preparing to Create
I had quiet time today and while quiet felt the need to prepare a little differently. I'll paraphrase the famous quote by Abraham Lincoln when he said, "I will prepare and my time will come."
Today felt like one of those preparing moments.
I'm investigating 501C3 options for a number of reasons.
As a religious speaker
Charitable work
The right person will come along and steer me in the right direction. This will add in the process and prepare us for what is to come.
I've used the name Gesu Cristo in the past for a charity tshirt design. The profits were sent to Haiti to rebuild a wall at a children's orphanage. This will be a better and more efficient route to channel fundraising in the future.
It's also my source for everything I do, so why wouldn't I use the name.
Iron
I had a fascinating conversation the other day regarding life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It could also be stated we discussed the Bible which in my opinion is one in the same.
Some bites that I felt from the discussion.
I need to get on C.S. Lewis stat.
The word Free Thinking Christian has caught my attention
If you don't think you struggle with pride, it's sure you do.
Humility shows a true interest in another.
Fantastic new digital idea to get the attention of the busy mentor or leader.
I'm conscious of my investments. Mostly pertaining to people.
1. How Old Would You Be If You Didn’t Know How Old You Were?
Tough answer, I have no benchmark to work from but interesting question to ponder.
2. If We Learn From Our Mistakes, Why Are We So Afraid To Make Them?
Pain hurts. Who likes to skin their knee up and then get back on the skateboard to try at it again when you still have small stones jammed in your skin.
3. Which Is Worse, Failing At What You Try… Or Never Trying?
Never trying is sheer fear. I hate it. People may say I do a lot of different stuff, but I'm out there trying and doing. Don't say I'm planning on doing this, do it and work it out.
4. When It’s All Said And Done, Will You Have Said More Than You’ve Done? (Do You Talk More Than You Do?)
Sometimes I have to talk myself into doing or talk with others to help me do. I say there is a good balance to this equation. Balance is the key.
5. Are You Doing What You Believe, Or Are You Settling For What You’re Doing?
Always doing what I believe, even if it's only on a micro scale. If I am settling, I'm planning the exit transition.
6. Have You Lived A Full Life… Or Have You Taken The Challenge Of Jesus And Lived An Empty One?
Def need to empty more out. He who waters others will himself be watered.
7. Are You More Worried About Doing Things Right, Or Doing Right Things?
I'm not worried about doing things perfect, I am watchful to get things done. Good question.
8. If You Knew That Everyone You Know Was Going To Die Tomorrow, Who Would You Call Or Visit Today?
Wife and kids
gramma and grampa
Mom and Dad
In laws (although that would take 2 days as they live in Australia)
9. If You Could Offer A Newborn Only One Piece Of Advice, What Would It Be?
Be you, you're the only created like you. There are no duplicates
10. Are You Holding Onto Something You Know You Need To Let Go Of?
11. Have You Been The Kind Of Friend You Want As One?
Sometimes. But then again, what is the standard?
12. What Are You Most Grateful For?
Christ looking out for my wretched ass. The things I've done and yet, he looked out.

What do we do?
We are the priest, pastor or minister at the wedding of our lives. We officiate the bond between brand and leaders. When brands go looking for a mate, they need a bit of help. That's where we come in.
What type of brands?
We curate fashion, technology and gadget needs for your everyday life. We find these items and get you in a room with them. We basically make it nearly impossible for you not to wanna date them. We also work with brands you already date and make the date memorable.
Who is this for?
We focus on leaders in the faith community. Leaders of Faith many times do not have enough time to help them mix and mingle in the brand community. They are interested and intrigued but many times don't have enough time to research or discover. We do all the research and discovering for them so they can focus on what they do best, 'Leading'.
Is there a cost?
There is not a cost at this time to join our team. Because we officiate the marriage of brands and faith, we do have a thorough process before accepting clients. Call it courting, dating or having a few coffees. Whatever you call it, it's us figuring out if our brands and services will work with your wants and needs. We aren't a huge advocate for divorce, so we choose wisely.
Back in 2000, I was helping out with the presidential campaign race in Iowa. If you’ve ever studied, or know anything about politics, you know that Iowa is a key, early state to get locked down for a presidential candidate. It has implications for the rest of the country. While in college, we...

Connecting dots + value creation
Maybe you call it micro marketing or influential curation. The process of how we purchase products will always change. Because they change it's imperative to navigate and create the next channel of change.
So I say to myself, "how do I already do what I enjoy doing with the possibility of attaching currency at some point?"
I'm interested in marrying people and products. This is not a new concept in any way but the sector in which I choose can be curated differently. Differently at first may not seem good but if done intuitive and executed well, shows potential.
LIfe is not about making perfect decisions but about opportunity. When you see opportunity what thoughts cross your mind? How does your brain engage or attempt to disengage?
Product > Influencer > People
Sometimes when you want to meet more people and have much more meaningful conversations, you need someone to introduce you. Some call it a buffer, others call it a socialite. Whatever the term you choose, they are extremely helpful in how we navigate life.
It's much easier to attend a party where you know a few people because those people introduce you to new people. Of course their is exceptions as some of our friends could crash any party and have a great time.
Jealousy hidden emerges not only in words but in action and overall view. You can be quiet with your tongue but loud in your actions.
Negativity just like opportunity is everywhere. It simply is the lens in which you view.
I stumbled upon Frank Viola and his article concerning Bono. You can read it here. Thanks Frank, I'll be preaching this sermon tomorrow and Sunday Night at Family Harvest Church in Tinley Park, IL. Blessings
