I don't know about other countries, but in Spain (at least in my region) we call big brothers "tete" and big sisters "tata". Some people use tete and primo to refer to friends too.

Being bilingual is really strange because it’s a skill you have to access sometimes, especially if you’re not a native speaker of the second language.

For me it’s a lot like doing math or writing essays. I know how to do it, and I know I can do it, it just takes me longer to get it right some days.
