i no longer respect the hustle i want universal basic income and dignity for everyone
Sketchbook cover!! I completed this back in Febuary for the new year.
turns out the greatest pre workout is looking at my pretty little femme and thinking “i need to be able to carry her without even pretending it’s heavy.” in all honesty my gym progress skyrocketed the second i stopped thinking “one more rep” and started thinking “there’s a little bunny femme waiting for me to effortlessly pick her up throw her around like a little doll.”
On a more positive note, I think I'm going to hold my first birthday party in like 10 years this years!
En fait idk how to feel about it parce que i'm probably going to try to mix between friend groups again. And then it's like, there are ppl I don't really want to see but I guess I'll have to invite them in case my friends don't get along and need an escape? And then there are ppl I want there but I don't know if I can trust them? Like M, he often did not show up, and now that I'm at his place, I keep wondering if he's genuinely trustworthy bc it's going against everything he promised, and he sometimes says shit he shouldn't and wtf honestly. I shouldn't be worried but I want to be a good host and I also want it to be chill.

Overall, don't go into law, the ROI is quite terrible, the people in there are boring, the hours are long, the years spent in school are nothing short of traumatic.
And as for everything else, what's been working the most is grey rocking. Nothing is fine and this is what journaling and dumping on an empty blog is for, but with friends, family &co, "sure" is more than fine.
Last time I went through this, I ended up with IBS, hairloss and a shitton of no fun stuff.
Why am I putting myself through it again. It better be worth the trouble.
Also, funny how I get spiritual and anxious when it comes to this. Like I kind of believe some people I know may bring me bad luck bc i fail anything i tell them about (cultural shit related to evil eye i guess) so I forbid myself from telling them anything really and then I had this thing where i was like "well a bunch of people succeed even when everyone knows what they're up to, you just have to show up and actually work", and it worked when a friend of mine really into astrology kept telling me that my 23rd year was my profection year and that it would bring a lot of mess in my family which was the last thing i needed and i ended up forcing myself to ignore it (kind of by putting some distance between myself and said friend) and it worked and i had a very normal(ish) 23rd year. But now, i know that some people know about my exam and shit and i'm convinced that that's it, I'm doomed to fail. I guess it's part of self-sabotage.
I really just need to keep showing up. Just like for anything that worked out. Maybe it won't work and like that's fine, I'll get to say by then that life is unfair and all, but if I'm self sabotaging now, then it's all really just my fault. Eh.

Paramore was right. Hard times
[looking at people younger than me] you have your whole life ahead of you [looking at people older than me] you have your whole life ahead of you [looking at myself] its over
so many people ive known have pushed themselves to burnout trying to deny their disabled reality, skipping accommodations, skipping rests etc. and the world convinces them that the solution to their burnout is to push even harder. it’s a huge tragedy. i know social pressures make it tough but i want more disabled people to make things easier for themselves where possible, to opt out of things that harm them when possible, to quit while they’re ahead. be that person today! protect yourself where you can! take micro breaks while doing your hobby. get that shower chair. sit to brush your teeth. lie down in the middle of the day, even if only for 5 mins. these things add up and it’s so worth it.
