Vil totally has an eating disorder. I have not ever met someone mentally well about food who monitors their intake as carefully and paranoid as he does. Anything remotely “unhealthy” (and nothing is unhealthy period dot. There are foods that are good for us in different ways) is not allowed. Too much of anything isn’t allowed ever. It’s a moral failing if he can’t maintain this diet. He is a moral failing if he can’t maintain this diet.

It also makes sense given he was raised to be a star. He was a child actor and the fucked up mental prisons child acting can trap someone in requires significant unpacking. Being thin, being palatable, being pretty, it’s all the norm. Of course you would think you’re being the normal one when everyone around you did the same thing. When you grew up watching adults who were barely skin stretched over bones get called fat, even when they have done everything to conform to it, the mold, as much as possible. Of course he hounds Epel like a dog when he finds out he broken his diet. It’s horrifying. Why would you do that? What compelled you to put such junk in your body (a part of you that everyone can see ame judge)? Are you just some— some child then? A child that never had the basics of self control installed in them? Because that’s who he was before the strict dietary rules were slowly baked into his skin. Before the images of what was and wasn’t acceptable were flashed in front of his face. He was a literal fucking child, and he hates that he was.
