All bodies belong to a person with feelings. Being rude and insulting, or creepy and fetishistic, or infantilizing and pitying in regards to what someone looks like is missing the mark. Treat people like people. Be patient. Be kind. Recognize your own biases and ruthlessly strangle them.

hey, if you as a transandrophobe would like to know why trans men/transmascs use transandrophobia or transandromisia to discuss their oppression, "transphobia" is too vague a word for the specifics of certain transphobia that only trans men and transmascs face. "misogyny" often does not encompass the full experience of the oppression trans men and transmascs are subject to, especially when their masculinity is used against them in the form of malgendering. hope this helps

Reading a book that takes place in the afterlife and I am loving it so much but it also hurts because the main character is learning how to be happy and learning to accept that happiness but she's dead. She didn't not find that happiness and peace while she was alive and it's only due to the afterlife she's in that she's finding this

Fiona and Lip from Shameless. What an interesting yet complex relationship between two older siblings who sometimes may selfish choices but ultimately they loved each other. I also think Fiona and Lip had a good chemistry and their scenes were always so interesting to see due to how different yet very similar they were.

Hey so a small thing that literally everyone who sees this is capable of is correcting any “used to” statements about native people in this country.

“Native people used to live in this National Park” No. They still do.

“Native people used to tell these stories-” No. They still do.

“Native people used to use this plant as a natural remedy-” No. They still do.

Better yet, familiarize yourself with the tribes local to you. Odds are, they do not yet have federal recognition. You can still read the stories they have to share, you can share their ongoing battle for recognition with others, you can sign petitions and spread the word to others to do so as well. But do something.
