BUILDING ON MY THEORY!!!!
Awhile ago, I made a theory that Tyler Durden could have been a person as real as Jack/The Narrator. First, here's some photo evidence of my claim before you read, and/or agree

Now, while the frames are quick and supposed to imply Tyler had always been there with him, WHAT IF Tyler really WAS there? What if the narrator just cut him from his memory to make it less awkward or make himself feel better? It makes sense:
In the first photo, the support groups are for anyone struggling. Jack/the narrator and even Marla (who might not be real either) were able to get in without an actual problem, so why couldn't Real Tyler?
• Within support groups, you often have to share your feelings and things about you and your problems. Jack/The Narrator could have heard Tyler's story and took it, thinking it was cooler than his.
• in the second photo, it's literally a man taking a drag, I see people do those all the time. He could simply just be passing by where Real Tyler just so happens to be.
• I know the third photo is more hard to explain, but not fully. Tyler could have been there first. What if THE NARRATOR SAW TYLER AT THE CLINIC AND FOLLOWED HIM TO SUPPORT GROUPS? Ues, his doctor prescribed him to go, but he could have also prescribed Tyler the same too. Hell, the narrator could have overheard it and tho out would help when his results came up flat
• While they don't necessarily cut things out, there are scientific reasons he could imagine Real Tyler not to be there:
Derealization: People with DID may experience derealization, a feeling that their surroundings are unreal or dreamlike. This can manifest as people and objects appearing distorted, blurry, or flat, making it feel like they're observing a movie or a play rather than interacting with real individuals.
Depersonalization: This involves a sense of detachment from one's own body, emotions, and thoughts. Individuals might feel like they are watching themselves from a distance, or that their body feels foreign or different, which could lead to a feeling of disconnectedness from the people and environment around them.
Amnesia and Memory Gaps: DID involves gaps in memory, which can lead to confusion and difficulty recalling interactions or conversations with people. Someone with DID might have an encounter with another person, and later have no memory of the event or the person involved
As a Result, Tyler could have been a very real person that was seen and stolen. I'll be back with more info on this theory 😁
