Arthur wasn’t sure what sort of measurement of trust yarn and paint held but if she was willing to swear by them it must be a big deal to her. He smiled still embarrassed that he’d actually said it out loud. It was in the open and there was nothing he could do about it now. He blushed a little when she began gushing about how pretty they were though. It almost sounded like she was thinking of, well, of what their kids would look like. That was waaaaaay too far ahead for Arthur to even contemplate at the moment. He sputtered unsure of what to say to that. “Y-yeah that’s the one alright. But remember, you can’t say a word to her about this!”
“Not a word! I sworn on my yarn and paint and I would hate to never be able to craft again.” She said frowning at the boy. “I am so excited! Are you going to take her on dates? Boat rides, picnics, flowers. You could get her all sorts of flowers! Maybe buy a lot, then she could decorate our room. I keep saying that our room needs more flowers to make it a bit more lively you know? Those walls make it feel so cold.”
