Paris (ideally it would also be a trip back in time to the 1830s/40s), Poland, Southern France, Scotland (listening to Mendelssohn’s Hebrides while on a hike through the Highlands), London, Salzburg, Vienna, Prague and a tour around all Italy.

I guess drawing and painting the things I like and getting payed enough to afford a comfortable life with a little indulgence once in a while.

Sintra, Buçaco, Aveiro, Ilha da Madeira, Serra da Arrábida, the Alfama and Chiado neighbourhoods in Lisbon (in the Chiado area there’s the beautiful São Carlos theatre where Liszt played in 1845 :) )

17. Favorite ice cream flavor?

Chocolate with hazelnut :)

Sometimes a bit before going to sleep

Harry Potter (I’ve read those books so many times I’ve lost count)

So I wanted to make a portrait of Chopin and so I did these sketches to explore different poses, and then I ended up polishing them up a bit ;_;

It’s so difficult to capture his elegant and delicate nature <3

Some really quick studies, trying not to focus too much on details and going just for the essential. The amount of things that I start and throw away has been insane the last few days and I’ve been feeling so frustrated and unmotivated and awful with everything that I do; I don’t feel confident at all to start any original piece anytime soon so I just do studies and curse all the way through and ugh

will this feeling ever end though ;_;

10 most played songs (last month): OHBOY Karol Kurpinski’s Dwie Chatki overture, Mozart’s 25th symphony in G minor, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, Mendelssohn’s Octet and Piano Trio in D minor Op.49 (the second movement is so damn beautiful!!!), Mozart’s Magic Flute, Chopin’s polonaise Op.53 (i’m learning this one and I love it so much but I can’t get passed the stacatto pianissimo octaves in the left hand and so it’s been really frustrating), Chopin’s Étude Op.25 Nº2 in F minor (which I’m also learning and pulling my hair in the process) and idk what else but there’s definitely more

7 favorite movies: hmm, I really don’t know, but I got to say I love Amadeus by Milos Forman, and I only wished there was a movie about Chopin with that quality level, the ones I’ve watched so far always have a little something that leaves me cringing. And then I guess the Harry Potter movies, especially the 6th.

Ahh you don’t know how happy I am to know that! Thank you so so much!!! I’ve been going through some very unproductive days lately because I’ve been feeling very frustrated and unmotivated with my work, but knowing that my humble drawings contribute for the happiness of someone out there really makes my day! On this day, 168 years ago, the world lost one of its greatest musicians. And even though I wasn't there, it was also the day I lost a friend. I wish he was here, we could spend the whole day playing piano and fangirling over Mozart. But he isn't. Sleep well dear Freddie 💕
