The beginning of the end
So i decided to make this blog as i needed a powerful outlet to my emotions, emotions that are driving me absolutely crazy with everything that’s going on at home. The thing is when your a young south asian women, just about to embark on the biggest chapter of her life, a walking embodiment of the words ambitious, independent, striking, passionate to then have her entire journey and fate completely squished to pieces because her family seem utterly sold by their dream idea of you and a life married to a doctor (who you supposed 100/100 match via the horoscope science bs) and a luxurious lifestyle half way across the world in a place you’ve never been, you begin to question your existence as a woman of this world.. you begin to question what all the years of blood, sweat and tears was for slaving away in education chasing the vision you had for yourself.. so here i am.. 26 years of age, about to be practically ‘sold’ to another family.. because THEY see it as a perfect match.
