â: Ever killed for sport?
âNo, always for the gang we worked in. Never for sport or fun.â
â :A time when mercy was requested but not provided
   Every time he was in charge of taking out a man who was nothing less than cowardly, there would always be pleas, begging. Heâd been taught not to listen, even if money or power were offered. One time in particular though, was when the man started pleading, saying his family needed him. Despite not remembering his own family at the time, except for Emmet, it made him falter before delivering the final blow.

Spring is Coming || Rosa & Ingo
âIâve been fine. Busy, but fine.â It was the truth after all. Busy traveling, helping others, meeting with friends and trying to find time to relax. Nothing was easy in the life of a Champion after all.
âYes, you are right about that.â The Battle Subway was never a quite place, that much for sure. âLead the way.â She smiled at Ingo. She didnât know the Battle Subway as well as him, or his brother after all.
âWell, it certainly keeps you entertained and passes time, being busy.â Chuckling softly, he gave a nod and turned, using his hand to gesture to follow, âI believe Emmet is in a battle at the moment, so itâll just be us for a while.â As they approached the office door, he pulled out his keys and unlocked the door. Holding it open, he gave a small gesture for her to enter first.
Fascination || Snow & Ingo
Snow watched Ingo pet his Pokemon, blinking a few times. He made sure to listen to the Subway Boss, looking up when he went into detail about his work. He did⊠Battles?
âBattling?â Snow asked, surprised. âI⊠Did not know one could battle on a subway car.â That was certainly a shock. He had been on the train that went from Goldenrod and into Kanto, but he couldnât imagine battling with any large Pokemon. âHow does that work? There must be restrictions on the kind of Pokemon you can bring inâŠâ
He started to humor himself by thinking of a Gyarados in a Subway Car. That certainly didnât seem possible at all. âI would have never thought to have a battle within a carâŠâ
âItâs rather simple in all honesty. My brother and I have set a weight and size limit so certain Pokemon are sadly unable to participate, but along with that weâve also banned certain moves. Itâs all to keep the trains intact of course. Itâd be a terrible thing for something to happen and our patrons get injured because of something we couldâve prevented.â
The Subway Boss had seemed to go onto a tangent, now that heâd been asked, âWe also set every Pokemonâs level to 50 to make it fair on everyone. Complicated process really, but then again running a Battle Frontier of sorts has always been incredibly complex.â
Engine Trouble ll Jade & Ingo
Starter for @attentater
âOwwwchâŠ,â Jade hissed to herself as she found a pole to help herself up. She was confused for a moment as to why she was having such issue finding her footingâuntil she noticed that she was standing on top of a door. She checked the âceilingâ next and found that she was staring at what should be the side wall.Â
Keep reading
The first thing he noticed, was the fact he was laying down. The second, was that his body hurt and he wasnât quite sure why. As he started getting up, slowly of course, he heard the voice and blinked a bit at the familiarity of it. Sitting up, he put a hand to his head and winced, âA little dizzy and sore, but otherwise fine. And yes, yes Iâm Ingo Nochkunst and weâre on one of the subway trains.â He knew she was only looking out for him, which is why he wasnât annoyed by the questions.
Pulling his hand away from his head, he looked at his glove and gave a grimace. Of course there was blood. Pulling it off, along with his other, he put them both away in his pocket. Looking back at Jade, he slowly stood up, staying put a moment before giving a nod, âRight, Iâm fine. I assume from your questions, youâre alright too then?â With his head and vision clear, heâd finally pieced together what had happened.
Looking at the damage done with an observant eye, âWell, we should go and check the other passengers. Canât have them panicking and doing more harm than good to themselves and the remainder of the cars.â He was all business, acting as if she were still a Depot Agent and no time had passed since sheâd left the station.
A Haunting in Nimbasa | Morty & Ingo
Of course, one might expect no matter what that those in higher positions would be good at accomplishing the necessary goals and functions associated therein. Morty bowed again the confirmation of company. Living, human company.
âYou may be with me for some time then,â he said with a quiet laugh, a hand over his lips. âOne never finds anything without looking, and I am not looking for my way.â
Morty glanced around, trying to decide on a direction, finally choosing one and continuing down the road, trusting that Ingo would keep pace.
âI normally only have Gengar to accompany me when I go exploring, but he doesnât seem to want to play tonight. Maybe heâs afraid of you,â Morty almost joked, though he never told jokes, really. âNimbasa is a strange city to me. It is more likely he is unnerved by it as I sometimes am, and does not wish to be around it, hiding instead.â
Morty let out a sigh, his breath visible, a curious thing about the specter. Gengar was always in his shadow, lowering the temperature around him considerably. Sometimes it turned his breath to smoke.
âI am lucky you happened upon me in place of something dangerous,â he said, Gengarâs giggles rising from his shadow just barely audibly as though coming from any alleyway just out of view.Â
Ingo gave a soft chuckle as he heard the first statement, âOh yes, I expected as much once you said you werenât earlier. At least with me, you wonât end up wandering until morning.â He made his own little joke, following along as the Gym Leader started to walk.
Afraid? Well, he couldnât really blame the Ghost type if that were the case, âStrange. Well, if it would put him more at ease, I could let my Chandelure out.â So much for keeping the Pokemonâs attitude in check, âHeâs sassy natured though, so he can be a bit of a brat.â Might as well give a fair warning.
Instead of chuckling again, he merely gave a nod, âI do tend to have good timing. Or at least, so Iâve been told.â He couldnât say that he wasnât dangerous, as that would be a lie, but he wasnât going to threaten the other man in any case. He preferred not to, he liked to stick with being a pacifist now if he could help it.
Fascination || Snow & Ingo
âYes, I did.â Snow smiled brightly, nodding. âI thought I would at least try, my Lapras has not gotten to swim that much in quite a while anyways.â It was times like this that he wished he could bring the Pokemon out and praise it, latch onto it and smile as he pet it. Unfortunately, this was nowhere near possible.
âThe ecosystems must be somewhat isolated, then,â Snow mused aloud, looking up at the sky. âI find it interesting nonetheless. I am not finding many familiar Pokemon hereâŠâ He finally seemed to smile at Ingo, switching topics. âA Subway Boss?â Oh, so this man ran a train station, essentially? That was certainly interesting. âSo you transport people all around Unova, no?â
Snow obviously didnât know how this worked.
âWell thatâs impressive of your Pokemon as well then.â It was nice the dual type got a chance to stretch like that in any case. The Chandelure soon moved back to Ingoâs side, to which his trainer pet below his flame again.
A nod was given as the Subway Boss listened. Hearing the questions, he blinked a bit, âWell, not exactly. I donât do the transporting personally, but I make sure itâs safe for everyone while having a bit of fun and battling those who make it to my train car. Thatâs the challenge that comes from the battling part of the station.â Hopefully that cleared things up.
@attentaterâ
âSir, you dropped this!â Touya didnât see right away who the person was, but they did drop their bag of coffee beans. Luckily it was zip locked, so none would fall out, and they werenât easy to find in Unova.Â
He went to tap their shoulder, but he paused for a brief moment. Heâs seen him before, but itâs been a long while since heâs seen him last. This was quite the meet-up, Touya had to admit. Which of the two was it again? His mind had to ponder on it for a minute.
âItâs Ingo!â he pointed at the other in surprise, the coffee beans still in hand, now out-stretched so the other could easily take. He looked rather happy for this sudden encounter, having not seen many of his acquaintances for a while since Unova was in ice. His brown eyes examined the other closely, not noticing that he possibly drew attention to them for shouting Ingoâs name.
Hearing the familiar voice, Ingo turned to face the boy when he approached. When his name was said, his eyes shot around a moment before looking back to Touya, âHallo again Touya.â He replied, taking the offered bag and slipping it into his pocket.
Glancing around again, âWould you like to come talk back in the office?â Itâd certainly put him more at ease. There would be no one back there but his brother, maybe, and some of the Depot Agents if they were walking around the halls. He was interested in catching up with the boy though, so hopefully he was fine with going back there.
A Haunting in Nimbasa | Morty & Ingo
Morty let a sly little smile come across his face for a moment, like a demon in the shadows, a ghost in the night, Gengar bleeding into him for a moment. Company, eh? well, he certainly wouldnât mind someone to talk to he supposed. Ingoâs response to his commentary made him giggle, covering his mouth as he did so.
âThatâs right, the famous twins Ingo and Emmet, yes?â he replied. âI didnât realize he was childish, but he must be awfully good to maintain his position alongside you, hm?â
Morty glanced to his feet, shadow dancing around him gently in the streetlights. Gengar seemed interested in coming out to play, but refused to actually do so. It was an intriguing couple of feelings seeping into Mortyâs being.
âCompany would, of course, be appreciated,â the seer continued. âWhen I do get to travel, I always do so without any living, human company.â The statement felt natural to him, of course. He only ever went places with his ghosts, and mainly encountered spirits where he went. Ingo seemed surrounded by an aura of death. Something which hung stale in the air. Nothing recent, but much loss. Curious.Â
The Subway Boss watched the other curiously, seeing how he was acting. At the questions, he merely chuckled a bit, âYes, thatâs us.â It unnerved him, ever so slightly, hearing the word âfamousâ in the question, but itâs not as if their faces were everywhere.
âIf weâre being honest, he does his work well. I think his being childish is a way to cope in some ways, but Iâm not sure for what exactly.â Could be from their past, could be from the stress. Hopefully it was from the stress. Itâd make things easier, but it was more so just a hope that it was. Ingo knew in the back of his mind it was the first reason.
âWell, then Iâd be glad to accompany you until you find your way.â Itâs not like he would get lost, he knew the city so well, but if the blonde wanted to wander around, that was fine with him. He was used to walking around, so walking a while longer wouldnât kill him in any case.
Honestly he was surprised his own Chandelure hadnât let himself out of his Poke Ball yet, but itâs probably for the best, given his attitude.
Fascination || Snow & Ingo
âIndeed I did. I travel a lot, actually, so it was bound to happen either way.â A small smile came onto his face, and he nodded. âI just so happened to come here by my Lapras. Surfing the oceans was certainly an experience, I will not lie.â Snow chuckled quietly, nodding to himself. He was focused on the Pokemon, though, still being careful.
At Ingoâs reply, Snow tilted his head slightly. âUnova is a very interesting place, if what you say stands true. A very isolated place, then? I have been around quite a number of regions, but I have not seen a lot of these Pokemon.â The more he thought on it, the stranger it seemed. Was Unova one of the more isolated places in the world? Or did people simply not care to come here?
Snow was happy he was here, though, either way.
He stood up straight, stretching slightly. âAre you a Gym Leader here, then? This is quite an impressive team, and I am not even familiar with the Pokemon here!â He almost sounded bored, not being a very expressive person through his voice, but his eyes showed that he was completely gushing in his mind. Ingo really impressed him.
âSo you came across the sea on your own? Thatâs quite impressive. I knew such a thing were possible, but I never thought anyone would try it since there are other ways.â Sigismund finally moved away from his trainer, circling around the boy while making a curious noise. With how his Chandelure was acting, the Subway Boss blinked a bit.
âOh I wouldnât say weâre isolated, after all Nimbasa here is a huge tourist attraction. I think the Pokemon found here would rather stick around here is all. Itâs their natural habitat.â Heâd always thought the ones in Kalos lived there simply because theyâd originally been released by trainers who visited here.
âGym Leader? Oh no, that would be Elesa. Iâm a Subway Boss, I run Gear Station, home of the Battle Subway.â He explained, âI run it with my twin, Emmet. The whole subway system here is run by us and our employees. We work hard to make sure it all runs smoothly and without complications.â
Fascination || Snow & Ingo
âI am from Kanto.â He smiled back at the man, but his attention soon returned back to the Pokemon. He gently reached out a hand to the Excadill, his eyes brightening considerably and a smile coming over his face. âAmazingâŠâ he whispered again, completely smitten with Ingoâs Pokemon. How amazing and exotic they were, at least compared to what he had seen!
He took Ingoâs words of caution into account, and he stared at the Klinklang. They reminded him every so slightly of the Magnetite the Snow had seen back in Kanto. âHow interestingâŠâ He remarked, coming close to them as well. he was careful with his fingers, but he seemed completely giddy petting the Pokemon. âHow interesting⊠The Pokemon back home that are like this are called Magnemite, but they look nothing like thisâŠâ
He finally looked back at Ingo, his eyes looking almost like those of a child in a candy shop. "I love traveling from region to region, observing Pokemon and such. I am no Professorâs assistant or anything like that, butâŠâ He glanced back at the manâs team. âI love meeting and interacting with new Pokemon.â
Kanto, huh? That certainly was a long way from Unova, âWell, you must of had quite the trip to get here in any case.â Hugo stayed still and allowed the boy to pet him, rather content with the attention. It was rather amusing to the Subway Boss, watching and hearing Snow whisper to himself over his Pokemon.
Hensoku was pleased that the boy had been careful, as they wouldnât have been able to help it if heâd pinched his fingers between their gears as they really couldnât stop spinning after all, âOh? Iâm pretty sure those can be caught somewhere in Unova as well. Canât quite remember where at the moment though.â Heâd have to remember to look into that.
Listening as he continued to speak, the Subway Boss gave a nod, âIs that so? Well youâll find quite the variety of Pokemon here in Unova. Quite a large portion of the ones found here only make their homes here. Of course, there are some that can be found in Kalos as well, from what Iâve heard.â
Reconciliation || Sarang & Ingo
        having wandered to nimbasa city for a little bit, anthea had ended up finding herself doing nothing but looking around the large, colourful city. it was really something, quite different from the way driftveil looked up until much recently, with the sudden modernisation of that place. it was still something she definitely found interesting.
having walked her way into being lost, she found herself in what seemed to be a subway of some sorts, judging by the railways and mass amounts of people.
that mightâve been why she was so frightened at the screeching of a flying pokĂ©mon and a manâs yelling voice, causing her to brace herself for the impact of the bird like fossil pokĂ©mon by raising her hands to her face.
once she realises that the man had stopped the pokémon, she lowered her hands and shakily looks over towards the very, very tall man.
â⊠ah.. iâm fine.. a little shaken, by iâm fine.â she nods, as if confirming it to herself. âiâm glad he didnât crash into me, though. i wouldâve.. certainly been quite a bit more upset if that had happened!â
she laughs airily, though sheâs still definitely a bit shaken, her laugh a bit awkward.
With her confirmation that she was, in fact, alright, he gave a nod, âIâm glad then.â He did, however, notice she did really appear to be shaky over the little incident.
âIf youâd like, you can come back to our office for some water.â He couldnât just leave her be after noticing that. Even if he did get that feeling he knew her, at least heâd be able to figure out why if she stuck around a little longer.
âPlease, itâs the least I can do after putting you through a scare like that.â He added a few moments later. It wasnât something he would mind doing in any case, especially since she did seem to need a little recover time.
[ â ]Â Â âCorrect, indeed. Itâs a pleasure to make your acquaintance.â he replied softly, parting some violet locks away behind his ear.
âSo youâre one of the Subway Masters, then. Excellent! You see, Iâd been meaning to take a little tour of the famed Battle Subway - Iâve heard many great things about the establishment.â he smiled, hand extending out to the other man. He still couldnât quite get over his attire, but at this point, itâd be rather rude to say anything. Wasnât this the city where that famous fashion model resided as well?
âŠPerhaps it was just the trend. The hermit couldnât keep up with all the knew fads of today; suppose this would be one of them.
âIs that so? I would be happy to give you one then.â Taking the offered hand, he shook it before letting go again, âHonestly it makes me happy to hear the station has been talked about in other regions. My twin and I pride ourselves on keeping it running as efficiently as possible.â
That and he liked to keep their reputation a good one as well. Because of that he wasnât too surprised the Psychic specialist had heard of it, but it was still nice nonetheless. If heâd been able to read minds, he wouldâve made a casual comment about what he was wearing was his uniform, but of course, he couldnât since he didnât read minds.
New Beginnings || N & Ingo
His eyes widened the tiniest bit at Ingoâs response. âOh, you wouldnât? Because I reallyâI mean, only if you want toââ But he was grinning like a child; it wasnât hard to guess what N was hoping for.
âWellâŠsince thereâs no lineâŠâ It took enormous amounts of self-restraint to keep himself from running up to the entrance of the ride like some kid at a carnival hyped up on candy. But he walked as casually as possible.
Once inside and moving, N was nearly pressed up against the glass, eager to look out and see the world as it passed by. He was quiet for a decent stretch of time, until he remembered that yes, there was another person here, and he was probably being rude.
Leaning back a little, he gave Ingo an apologetic smile. âSorry. Iâve only ridden it once before. Itâs just so magical, isnât it? The way the mechanics work, but also just being able to look out and see it all like this.â
It was perfectly clear to him, just how excited the other was, âI wouldnât have offered if I didnât want to.â He could tell heâd made him plenty happy, just looking at that grin N wore.
Following after the shorter one, he made his way onto the ride and sat down. Crossing his legs at the knee, he was perfectly content to just sit in silence, watching the greenette as he stared out the window.
At the apology, he shook his head a bid dismissively, âOh no itâs perfectly alright. I know exactly what you mean. I donât often get a chance to ride unless my twin drags me out of our office.â
It certainly was a sight, looking out the windows and seeing the city. Night time was certainly better to ride, in his opinion, given the fact that Nimbasa had such pretty lights on after dark.
