I am still amazed by what happened last weekend. Charlie's such a sweetheart, with those eyes that crinkle at the corners when he smiles, and boy, he smiles all the time. It’s hard to describe how wonderful he is. He gave me a tight hug and took my sweaty, nervous hand and told me I was doing great. He signed my helmet and thanked me for being a fan. I told him that Daredevil had changed my life, and he said it had changed his, too.
Elden was no exception. He seemed shy and tired, but got deeply grateful when I told him how much Foggy is still loved and how he brought lightness and soul to the show. He reiterated that the show is doing well without him and that they are doing an excellent job.
About the panel and the big elephant in the room
I didn't stay for the whole thing, because my hotel was far away and I had a very early flight the next day. And that was heartbreaking for me, because Charlie looked stunning.
Going to a comic convention, whether traveling abroad, to another state, or even staying within your own, is very expensive. You pay for absolutely everything there! Who in their right mind would pay for a ticket, to say nothing of the rest, brave a line, and pay for an autograph, only to say something to the actress, right to her face, that would deeply offend her? The handlers at the tables are there to prevent that kind of harassment, after all.
Charlie wouldn't say something like that based merely on claims from two or three small sm accounts on the internet. What he did was simply tell the truth in a joking tone, while she, as always, played the damsel in distress, a victim of crazy fans. And, like always, she’s stirring the pot in the fandom, again. And this is just one of the reasos I hate that bitch.
For those of you who believe in her, just take a look at the photos ops and draw your own conclusions about the kind of person she is.
