It wasn’t the first time the demon had sought the services of a Djinn to help him relieve the chaos that swelled inside his brain. But Aleksy had never come across one like Atticus before. And never had he stayed with one quite so long before either, considering their doctor-patient ‘relationship’ had been going on for quite some time. He was a melting pot of emotions as he sat out in the quiet courtyard, counting down the minutes until it was his turn. When the door opened and he saw the beautiful hypnotherapist step out and asked for his next appointment, Aleksy got up from the bench with a somewhat hesitant pace – part of him felt guilty for allowing himself to be so vulnerable around the other – before finally allowing himself to enter Atticus’ office. He waited until the attractive Djinn closed the door behind them before he began speaking. “I’m unraveling again,” Aleksy confessed before closing the distance between enough that it became intimate. “Help me, Atticus,” he pleaded softly, his hand coming up to rest on the man’s pec. Looking up at him with a gaze of quiet desperation, he pressed himself up against the doctor. “I need you.”
Aleksy wasn’t one of the patients Atticus extorted a bunch of money from and then worked up a perfect fantasy world in his head to keep him coming back. He could, and he did it to many, but this one was one he actually tried to help. Atticus was sort of split that way, he’d decide usually within minutes of meeting a person whether he was going to be nice or the complete opposite. For Aleksy he turned up the charm and turned down the abrasiveness. He brought a hand to the small of the man’s back. The things he found in the demon’s mind were chaotic enough just from the smallest taste, he couldn’t imagine how it must be for him. “You know I will. I’ll do what I can.” He paused to nip Aleksy’s bottom lip, figuring it wouldn’t hurt, though they should take care of his mind first. He motioned to the couch, lying down in therapy seemed cliché but too many people fell on their asses as soon as he put his hands to their head. “Tell me what’s going on, tell me what it feels like, what you need.” Knowing what to look for beforehand made everything much easier. Moving to dim the lights, he sat down next to the head of the couch.
