Today's progress! Will finish it next weekend! I just need to build the gate, add more support so it doesn't sway, and sand and paint.

I'm considering adding a pulley and counterbalance system to make the gate effortless to open. Could probably do that with springs under tension, like in house windows.

Very happy with how it's turning out so far!
