can u write some seonghwa angst to fluff🥺 like perhaps a bad fight but then you make up later on? xoxo
I’m finally back yay! Please excuse the ending of this tho, I felt rly out of it all of a sudden so the last paragraph might not make sense lol but I hope you like it!!
As you sat outside your favourite cafe, the only feeling you could comprehend was envy. Envy for the happy families wandering past, cheerful and bright, smiles and laughter as sweet as the ice cream that sat melting in front of you. Envy for the couple sat a few tables forward, enjoying each others company a little too well. Screw them.
You even felt mad at the weather, in all the stories when people were sad, there seemed to be coincidental thunderstorms. Today however, the sky was a brilliant blue as it was clear of all clouds, the sun beamed so bright, but not too much that it became off-putting. It was hot enough to enjoy being outside for no good reason but not too hot that it made you daydream of the cool you’d left behind at home. Of course for you, the ‘home’ you recently left was icy cold, frozen with agony and heartbreak.
“I’ll love you forever”. He promised that, but he didn’t mean it. Every word of his that came back into your mind felt like a knife to your heart, yet you couldn’t stop thinking of them. Of him.
Venturing back, dumping your fully melted ice cream into the trash on the way, everything reminded you of him. This was supposed to help for god’s sake, why wasn’t this helping?
Once you reached home, unlocking your door and swinging it open felt like a rush of cold had just blown you back. You steadily stepped in landing straight on the sofa, sinking into the soft material and staring at the ceiling, occasional tears wetting your cheeks.Someone banging at the door brought you back to reality, as you soaked in the darkness that now surrounded you. You must’ve zoned out for a while. The person at the door banged again, much less harsh this time.
“Y/N please open the door.” A gentle voice called out. The last voice you wanted to hear.
Opening the door, you took in his broken down appearance, his eyes puffy clearly from crying his clothes looking worn, as if he hadn’t changed for a couple days.
“I didn’t do it, I have proof, please believe me” You were silent for a second, you weren’t sure what to say, If he didn’t have proof that it was all a misunderstanding he wouldn’t pretend, he wasn’t like that.
“My friend witnessed it, they know it wasn’t me, i’ll call them and they can tell you” He spoke, pushing through each crack of his voice, determined to let you know the truth.
Maybe it was stupid of you to not talk to his friend, but you knew you didn’t need to. The way he was clutching his phone with a grip that turned his knuckles white and the way the screen of the phone was open to a contact you assumed was his friend showed you enough.
So with a deep breath you stepped forward, wrapping your arms tightly against his waist, as if you were afraid you’d lose him for good if you let go. He let out a heavy sigh as he threw an arm around your back; his other hand resting on your head as he stroked your hair. Suddenly you both felt the weight of all the emotions that led to this moment, both beginning to sob gently with relief. After a minute of staying within the comfort of each other’s embrace Seonghwa pulled your face up to his kissing you passionately whilst the arm around your waist remained there, his grip loosening a tiny bit allowing you to stand more comfortably. You tilted your head slightly, kissing back a little softer allowing Seonghwa to push the two of you forward a little allowing you to stand fully in your apartment together. He pulled away a little hand still resting on your cheek as you both admired each other. The love in his eyes was confirmation you were doing the right thing.
Pressing a kiss tenderly to the end of his nose with a smile, you pushed your door closed, pulling him over to the sofa. As you rested your head on his shoulder you took note of the view from your window. All day the weather was taunting you with its happiness. Except right now it didn’t seem as dull and dark as it was moments prior to the knock on the door. Instead it was serene and peaceful. A beautiful deep blue with stars dotting the expanse of the sky like bright pin pricks. Everything was okay now, and it was going to stay this way, that much you were sure of.
