FED-2 HEAVY CAMERA The Soviet FED rangefinder program started during WWII as a response to the German Leica - both to boost internal Russian industry, and because embargo's forbade sale or trade of German product during the war. The FED-2 is an awesome rangefinder camera. Not quite the quality of the Leica, these cameras are cheap and plentiful making them fun to collect in all their variants. These cameras are great for those getting into film street photography and are distinctively durable as is to be expected from a Soviet design. Interesting fact: there is a common (wrong) belief that these cameras were the product of child labour. That's because the factory the FEDs came from is named the same as its former life as an orphanage. Novector Day 21: The Loup Garou The Loup Garou is the name of a human who can change into a wolf at will. Of French origin via Quebec, Loup Garou can be translated as "Wolf-Werewolf" which is kind've redundant. The Loup Garou, however, differs from the more well known myth by being both aware of their actions at all times, and also by being able to transform independently of whatever the phase of the moon is in. NEOPETS IS NOW THE ESSENCE OF CHAOS.

This is fucking amazing, guys. I’ve never even been into Neopets and this is magical for me. Basically, Neopets was sold to Jumpstart (an “edutainment” company). That’s all well and good, except for the fact that Jumpstart fired every single one of the admins and moderators (for many of whom it was a paying job, btw) without any prior warning; they thought that their word filter could take care of everything.

That wasn’t the case.

Neopets now consists of nothing but shitposting. And this isn’t a 4chan raid; these are longtime members who are sick and tired of the way they’ve been treated over the years and angry about what happened to their staff. People who have been members since fucking 2004 are now perfectly happy with throwing their accounts away if it means they can shitpost and run rampant for a while. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Neopets is going out not with a whimper but with a bang. The Neopocalypse has begun.

what she means: the yarn man was the hero i didn't think i needed, but got nonetheless. the man before him was a smug looking man in a suit that's probably more expensive than everything in my closet. he was, in fact, the physical manifestation of everything i dislike about the video game industry. then the yarn man, or martin sahlin as his doctor calls him, appears on stage and he's such a precious human being. he was probably terrified of being on stage in front of the eyes of thousands of people who will surely form an opinion on him within mere seconds and yet he still stands there because he's so passionate about his game and he wants to share it with all of us. look at him. a passionate developer wanting to share his game with passionate players. the little doll that's playable in the game, he even crafted a real life version himself and was physically shaking as he proudly showed it to the world. he's too precious. i don't know what i did to deserve him. i don't know how i can love a man i don't know. i thank him from the bottom of my heart for re-igniting the spark in me. i thank him for making me feel so much joy i even managed to physically sit through "let's talk about mobile", the depths of minion hell and various sports games. thank you yarn man.
