So I might’ve killed a scuttler and brought its heart for you to have. Also fun fact; my scales can bristle. I’m a little hesitant to show you though because it looks a bit like a flower when they’re fully bristled.. and I know you like flustering me.

Dave took a deep breath; all of his purple scales blooming like a giant flower. He was puffed up to twice his size. You could see the under-layers of scales which were iridescent and shinier than the top layer. Dave was blushing now. The scales bloomed everywhere but his face.
