Rick Arlen Model's Origin
The character models used in Nancy Drew: Stay Tuned for Danger were from 1998's Poser 3!
And Mattie Jensen:

And Nancy Drew: Message in a Haunted Mansion's Charlie:

Poser 1 was released in 1995 and is still updated with new versions!
In case you want to use these models yourself, it looks like these models from Poser 3 are also included in more recent versions, like Poser 8, as shown here:

I don't know if these models are included in newer versions past version 8, like Poser 13 (2023).
i was wondering, do you have an idea of around what time each game takes place? ive always wondered that. i know theres events that take place before the game so we can estimate around that and i didnt know if you had any headcanons :)
Of course! And a special shout out to the wiki’s page on this! A LOT was already done when I got to it, so I’m grateful to the whole community who invested their time and brain cells. All the explanations are on that website if you’re curious!
Here's the breakdown -
In order of year/game:
SCK - May
STFD - November 13-15
MHM - Winter
TRT - Winter
FIN - Spring (March?)
SSH - April
DOG - May
CAR - June 11
DDI - June 17

SAW - June (1?)-?
SCK:R - September
CAP - March 12
ASH - August 17-18
TMB - Summer
(Hypothesis: Most excavations take place in the summer and aren't long, maybe a month to two months, especially when sponsored by a University like Kingston. So, I would place it in early June.)
DED - October 29-?
SPY - July
GTH - Fall (October 30?)
(Hypothesis: I would bet it takes place during Halloween time because it looks brisk out, the trees are almost all off the deciduous trees, and Jessalyn's bachelorette was spooky themed. Also, it would coincide with Charlotte's birthday, October 30, which is just poetic.)
MED - Winter
LIE - July
SEA - January
MID - October 28-?
KEY - May

Found this photo recently... is this not just the cover to Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon??
Super cool! Out of curiosity, where is this image from?
I saw it on a tiktok posted by rocky mountain CBS (realizing now saying I 'found' it might be a little inaccurate...)

so bc the image sourcing thing is basically a reflex now? i found an uncropped version in the Denver Public Library's digital collections-
