Civilisation develops not from Abel, but from Cain the murderer. The very word “civilisation” derives from the Latin word for city. […] The first city, according to Genesis, was constructed by Cain, the inventor of agriculture—a technology that requires a fixed abode. It is his descendants, the sons of Lamech, who invent both “artifices in brass and iron” and musical instruments. Metallurgy and music—technology and art—are in the line from Cain. And the passions that lead to murder do not abate: Lamech says, “For I have slain a man for wounding me, and a young man for bruising me; if Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech sevenfold.” The connection between murder and invention has been with us ever since. Both derive from agriculture and civilisation.

i love the phrase “inner demons”! its so fucking funny. like yeah i was traumatized and now i got dozens of mean little bastards running around in my brain! i contain a multitude of evil spirits. i was emotionally damaged at one point and now im possessed
I’m just 17 inner demons in a trench coat.
Another kinmonality I just realized: Desperately wanting/trying to protect someone and failing. Thanks, brain, for reminding me why I have those nightmares.
Honestly, Jack is so pure and should be protected. I would seriously die for him, he is such a great person and I can't believe I helped raise him. - a Sam who is really proud of Jack

So garlic is a natural anticoagulant, but then why would vampires be allergic to it?
Hear me out:
What if vampires made up all the stuff about them being allergic to garlic so that their victims would eat it, thinking it would ward off vamps, but instead it makes their blood easier to drink!
Because it doesn’t clot!
This has really been getting to me recently. Have I uncovered their master conspiracy or am I going insane?

if i ever met satan the first thing i would say is “did it hurt…when you fell from heaven??” It would be hilarious. The next thing I would do is probably burst into flame and get impaled dozens of times but it would still be hilarious
Spotted at a Goodwill in Florida. An employee actually saw it and took it away to the back of the store where it was presumably burned.
A+ can confirm
