This past week, the flagship Bloomingdale’s location in NYC  hosted a pop-up art gallery. Unbeknownst to the department store chain, Bloomies displayed the work of an illusive artist by the name of Yule C. Placed on the side of the building, the piece was open to the public for viewing on the 59th and Lexington corner of the store. It has been confirmed that the piece was available for viewing Monday, 10/20 to Tuesday, 10/21 and taken down by Thursday, 10/23. The actual painting itself illustrates what looks like Yule C’s lucid take on NYC life while utilizing indepth detailing to create hidden imagery. The new artist hitting the NYC art scene definitely made their presence known by utilizing the streets as their art gallery while giving a whole new meaning to “street art”. It is safe to assume that with balls big enough to make such moves to display their work, this will not be the last we will see of Yule C. The question now is, where will we see this artist’s work next?
