Someone did a speedpaint of fanart for Pink! Look at how cool this is!
It's been more than a minute since I posted anything here, and that's because a lot of the time I used to spend drawing is now spent on game dev. After just about five years of development, I've finally finished my second horror game, Cold House. You might like it if you're a fan of old-school RPG-maker-style horror games.
If it sounds interesting to you, check it out.
I thought I’d give designing a bookmark a try, so I threw this together. I have no idea how well these details will print, so wish me luck.
Guess who’s been ignoring their video game backlog to replay Rune Factory 4.
I was flipping through my sketchbook and I found the 1 1/2 inch tall thumbnail where I originally scribbled out this idea. I thought some of you would enjoy it.
Here’s the finished Gladio bookplate, just a little late for his birthday.
Migraines set my progress back on this piece, so I still need to fiddle with the colors a bit and to the tattoo, but I wanted to at least share a draft of this pic for Gladio’s birthday.
Since I made Pink available publicly, it’s done very well on itch, and some people have even posted playthroughs on youtube.
I’d planned to only share Pink with my friends originally, so I’ve been a bit overwhelmed by the positive response.
YOU MADE THIS GAME??? OMG I saw manly badass hero play it and it even inspired some art of mine!!! Im so happy to see that you draw a lot of ffxv and kingdom hearts as they are my main fandoms 🥺🥺🥺💗💗💗 YOURE SUCH AN AMAZING PERSON!!!
Oh, thank you! It’s nice to find someone who shares my strange venn diagram of interests in KH, FFXV, and pixel horror games. I’d love to see the art that Pink inspired.
A timelapse of Prompto’s bookplate.
Another D&D doodle. The context isn’t important.
Continuing with birthday bookplates for each FFXV character, here’s Ignis.
Here’s a Prompto sketch.
I’ve decided 2022 is going to be a year of more sketches and experimentation, so have this doodle of mine and my friend’s D&D characters. They’ve found themselves in a sticky situation through no fault of their own.
A timelapse of the Lunafreya bookplate I did last year. You can see me change my mind about this piece one million times.
I think 2021 was a decent art year, despite not being able to use my tablet the last couple of months.
Template by @mossygator_ on twitter.
I’m still waiting on a new cord for my tablet. I sketched out my wife my favorite Tales of Arise character, though.
I did end up inking this. Just because I can’t do digital art right now doesn’t mean the urge to lineart hasn’t gone away.
