A Damaged Spiral

Made with Processing, each frame of its output displayed on a CRT TV and photographed with DSLR. Animated and finished with video editing software.

The Processing output consisted in grayscale only pixels. The Cathode Ray Tube TV generates grayscale colors through a sum of red, green and blue electron beams, at equal itensities. Slight accidental differences in the RGB values and the inconsisency between the digital pixel geometry and the matrix of pixels in the TV screen produced the colors in the final gif.
