Positive Words Part 1

I'm a bit misanthropic and I do not take pride in it. If anything, I try not to be even when I find myself believing the entire human race is a disappointment. I try to be kind to everyone and still hold onto the belief that there are a fraction of decent human beings out there. I'm tired of hearing people complaining about negative people in their lives and taking pride in being an asshole to others. I get it, most people suck and will piss you off, but those feelings are temporary. Don't let some little encounter effect your whole day or your opinion about everyone. People are all capable of kindness, so treat everyone kindly or how you'd want to be treated. We all have a choice to free ourselves from those who don't deserve our kindness and not let meaningless encounters consume us.

In this lifetime we must learn to walk alone at some point in our lives. People will come and go, therefore we must learn to be comfortable with being by ourselves. Being alone doesn’t necessarily mean being lonely, it means being free of outside influences and taking time to connect with ourselves. 😊
