Watching the fandom, doubt anyone cares, but so there isn't any confusion and/or surprises in Part 3.

Cid and Shera are canonically married by DoC. It was confirmed in the Final Fantasy Ultimania Archive Volumen 2. Seeing the nice guy the have turned Cid into in Rebirth, I highly doubt they aren't going to hint at where his relationship with Shera is going by the end of his character's arc.

This is probably the worst mistranslation in the original FF7 game. Tifa would NEVER exclude Cloud. He chose to dissociate and that confused Tifa.

People like to "forget" (or rather ignore to suit their preferred narrative) that the guy doing the translation of this game was in a time crunch, and had barely any context for anything happening. He had a Spreadsheet with the lines to be translated. That's it. No wonder his work was full of inconsistencies.

Nojima made it a point to correct all these errors and misinterpretations in Traces of Two Pasts. Guess who again ignores this book? Anyone that wants to paint Tifa as a bully for their own agenda, and doesn't want to face the truth.

Sad, because ToTP is a great book, a deep dive on both Tifa and Aerith's childhoods (and the Coda part is very interesting too, if you are ever wondering because there are so many Sephiroth's copies roaming around). But obviously you aren't going to read it if your only goal is to hate on Tifa, despite how much you way you are in Aerith's corner.

I am going to throw my crazy Re.birth theory out there.

Ae.rith with the hair down is very much dead.

Clo.ud gets killed in the subsequent final-of-the-game boss battle against Sephi.roth... and gets pulled by already dead!Ae.rith to the other time-line where she is at the church, and hands him over the White Materia. Sephi.roth shows up at the church, and they fight again. But Clo.ud doesn't belong in this time-line, nor is he destined to be dead in the other one... So Ae.rith and Za.ck join him in battle, they defeat Sephi.roth together, and then Ae.rith sends Clo.ud back to where he belongs, while she and Za.ck stay behind. The final scenes of Ad.vent Children just explode with new meanings with this set-up, lol. Za.ck says goodbye to him with the same hand gesture as in AC.

Clo.ud gets back, kicks Seph's butt yet again with the party, and afterwards he buries Ae.rith's body in the water. Game finishes with some shot of him holding the White Materia and telling the party there is still hope, and they are going the finish this once and for all.

Will be fun to see how far I am after the game comes out xD

My Seifer figure fell down yesterday evening from 30 cm high and one of his boots fell off. I gave it to my husband for fixing. He glued it back and let it dry overnight.

This is where I found the figurine this morning, on top the TV and faaaar higher than 30 cms.

Seifer would be dramatic like that xD.

PS - he is still up there as of this evening. May as well be his new place.
