”Truly. I’m surprised this kingdom hasn’t been wiped off the map yet. Oh well...” He gives a dissatisfied sigh at the thought. Gilgamesh hasn’t been here for very long, and yet many in Nohr are so eager for him to leave. They haven’t even wn the war and they already wish for their aid to depart. Honestly, he’s half tempted to give them the satisfaction of removing them from his presence. Leave them to the mercy of their enemies.
“Zevran, was it…?”

⚜Finding the proper approach to addressing the Golden king was going to be a rather hard deal for the old knight. After all he still hadn’t gotten use to how he appeared to people, the screaming was normal but the horrified running through the halls was still unpleasant and hurt his ears.
The matter at hand now was that while he watched the young lad he had to hear the constant bark of Ambrose in his ear night after night about him. There was no threat to him over it given that the worse the boy had done was pick the princess up and move her once. No harm, no bruises but given they enjoyed one another a little too much he thought to try to at least get to know him.
Taking a different approach then his fellow morph would he, armored shoes a steady echoed click as he presented himself from the shadows. Pushing back his cloak in an overly dramatic manner he gave way to a bow.
“Your Majesty, I hope you’re morning has been fruitful?” ⚜
“Eh?” This is definitely an unfamiliar face, not that he actually bothers to remember anyone. However, he knows for a fact that this man has never once come into his vision before. He certainly has an aura about him that is familiar, something he merely thought was just part of the...Kingdom of Nohr experience.
“Apparently it has been, considering I am now partaking in idle chatter with a face that has never once invaded my vision before. Much less my space. I am sure I would remember such a...vulgar appearance.”
This man appeared almost ill, so much so Gilgamesh took a step back as if he might catch something. He’d very much rather keep his distance from this man.

Gil looked smug even with a blindfold on. Oh, Niles was sorely tempted to slap him round the face now that he wouldn’t see it coming. Maybe later, though. First, he had a show to watch. The way the other man carefully removed his jewellery was nice enough, but it was the way that his clothes seemed to simply fall off of his body that momentarily entranced Niles.
Walking with silent footsteps, he crept up behind Gil, tracing one fingernail down the length of his spine. “Pretty,” he murmured in the young king’s ear. “Too perfect, though. Such stunning porcelain needs a few cracks, I think.” He punctuated his sentence by sharply smacking Gil’s ass, leaving a red flush on the skin. “Mm… Twenty more hits like that and I’ll get to watch you wince every time you sit down. Would you like that~?”
A pleasant shiver followed the finger tracing down his spine, leaving goosebumps on that fair skin. It pleased him to hear that first word that left Niles’ mouth. While not a word he is used to being described as, he still takes some pride in it. At least the other man is enjoying what he sees.
Before Gilgamesh has a chance to make any remark of his own about adding cracks to porcelain, the sudden smack to his rear elicits a startled sound from him. How shameful. “You certainly would be one to enjoy that, wouldn’t you.” He gently leans back into Niles a little, almost as if trying to coax him to do it again.
Take what you want when you want it. It’s been yours the whole time.
"You know that little voice inside your head that tells you not to do the thing? Listen to it next time."
“You dare lecture me, warden?” His tone makes his distaste very clear.
The prince almost seems to be pouting as he glares at the elven woman in question. Most would find such a bold act to be absolutely appalling, the act of scolding those of royal standing. However, he was not in the presence of those who care much about his position other than keeping him safe. And preventing him from making stupid decisions as he did just moments ago.
“I am still in one piece and so are you along with your rabble.”

♜ It would be always clear that Melina loved knowledge, she wasn’t a stupid girl. She was careless if anything but in the end why would she pick the library of all places to hide? It was at the comment of the wager that her ears started to perk up , even more so when it came to knowledge she didn’t know of yet.
Upon watching the formation of the golden circle, her eyes seemed to light up . She had never seen such magic, there was such things a pocket dimensions. This however was different she could see and feel the pull of it and when she was overly curious her attention would only be brought to the item in which he called forth.
She had seen tablets before , old text from the time way before these walls were formed. These however were words she didn’t know, works completely foreign. Melina had to hold in a happy squeal, one that usually would escape her upon new things being presented to her but she had to resist. Gil of all people couldn’t be allowed to hear it nor should he.
Melina wished to get her hands on it but it couldn’t be obvious she needed to play it cool. Slowly she crossed her arms and made herself less amused and transfixed on the new item.
“Why type of game? What shall be the rules? How do I know you wont just cheat me?” ♜
“Now where would be the fun in that? No, I am giving you the honor of picking what game we play.” Watching her reaction, and how she struggled to contain her excitement. He almost found it adorable, which made the young king ponder how else to force those emotions within her emerge. However, there will be another time for that.
He wanted to focus on what was going on now, and what sort of game she might decide upon. “I’ll even let you set the rules.” Which will give her the reassurance that he’ll be unable to cheat. Not that he planned to commit such a deplorable deed.
Gilgamesh gently lay the stone tablet down on a nearby table, the object still radiating whatever magic was imbued within. “So, what will it be, dear princess?”
Don’t touch me or I’ll cut that hand of yours clean off.

At the sight of the human’s hand on the sword hilt, several of the soldiers readying their own weapons, only for their leader to hold up her hand. “Who are yah?” She asked, confusion knotting her features. “Yah are not the one we were promised- did yah take the monster’s place? If so, what a shame it’ll be ta kill yah.” She sighed, the youths getting ready to loose the dogs as she leaned back in her seat- only to dismount from the creature she was riding and move cloer, like a predator stalking prey. “We were promised one of yahr kind from the town- a man known far his cruelty towards others- an’ if we have ta, we’ll hunt yah an’ him down.”
“Mi'lady, is it possibe our claim was taken by another?” One of the soldiers asked, keeping an eye on the human as the woman turned.
“The rest of the Hunt hasn’t called ta us, but it is a small possibility… Go meet up wit’ ‘em.” She replied, and the soldier nodded before dissappearing.
Monster? His kind? Clearly none of them were human, but the way they spoke of humans left him uneasy. A man known for his cruelty towards others. It sounds as though he may have missed the nearby town, if it is as close as the woman makes it sound. He wasn’t sent out here by anyone, just an unfortunate traveler that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
“I know naught of this supposed bargain nor the people involved.”
Those crimson eyes seem almost unnatural on the young man. He never removes his hand from his weapon, the blade still slightly peeking out. “I was merely searching for a place to camp for the night, and I intend to continue forward.” And if he had to fight his way out, so be it.

♜ Melina didn’t wish to , at this moment she would be more satisfied with him dead and his heart on a platter. Every fiber of her being vibrated with anger towards the golden king and all she wished to do was strike him more. However she was far smaller then she wished allowing him to pluck her from the ground and move her to where he wished.
“I pick to know nothing about you for you’re but a tool to my father an nothing more. You said it yourself, aid and nothing more. What do you even have to offer me in means that would better my kingdom other then victory? Then again if we learn nothing from one another would it be truly awful? I do not have to see you as a blemish on our books after all …just a small little chapter. Awww , but could you deal with that? Just one page of gold leaf couldn’t satisfy your hunger for pride now could it .”
“You to leave my library and carry on where I am not. “ She spat knowing what this was about and she wouldn’t have any of it . The princess started to take leave when she heard his words.
“Company? What do you think I am? Do I look the girl that’s here to ‘please’ you? Please yourself. ” ♜
“Hm? Well why not make a bargain, my dear princess?” He purposely ignoring majority of her words, deciding to focus on whatever he wished to. Whatever he found to be worth listening to. He’s noticed her fixation on knowledge, and decides to use that against her. “I am sure I have something to your liking.” To further entice her, he holds up a hand and suddenly there is a shine of gold as what appears to be a portal manifests itself into existence. Something emerges from within, and he pulls it out. As the portal disappears, Melina is left with the sight of what appears to be a stone tablet in his hand.
And ancient aura of magic radiates off it.
“You seem the type to be entranced by something such as this.” Gilgamesh gently waves the stone tablet he holds. It’s appearance gives the impression of a book as it seems to be two tablets together. The carvings are in an unknown language. “Will this suffice in winning your company? Or perhaps you would like to make a game of it?”

Iago delivered the greeting with the bare minimum of respect he was able to give, his face as unreadable as the mask he wore over his bad eye. As Garon’s right hand, it was part of Iago’s duty to be respectful towards their allies–
That didn’t mean he had to like it, though.
“Hm?” Oh, this the adviser he recalled seeing by King Garon’s side when he first arrived. And also the mentor to Princess Melina, from what he’s managed to gather during his research. She’s the only person he’s bothered to really learn about after all. The only person who has piqued his interest enough to gain his effort to learn of them. “Her mentor, huh...?”
His words are more so to himself, but it’s clear who is occupying his mind right now. Those deep blood colored eyes seem to stare right through the man. “It would be far more amusing if you expressed your distaste like she did. However, I suppose it is still entertaining to watch you all struggle in feigning hospitality.”
