Can you show us the concepts arts/old concepts of your AU Pacifide and the concepts arts/ old designs of Chloe ?

a good chunk of it is lost media, unfortunately. but i was able to find some stuff while digging. i diddddd have a gacha life phase when i was a teenager lmao

here, this is the oldest digital thing i could find. chloe is in between chara and frisk. she had long pigtails and wore a black jacket. (also if theres someone who knows who made the red sprite, please tell me so i can credit them) chloe has gone through SO many designs in the past years. until ive settled with the one i have today.

these were when i had an idea of chloe and frisk having different outfits in the different areas of the underground. i decided against it as i feel it wouldn't make sense. (im a perfectionist)

for a while, chloe had long hair that reached her knees. she even had a ponytail at one point as well.

i was not happy with her design for a long time. it felt like something was missing with her. so i (again) messed with some concepts.

I made another drawing with more designs, but I can't find it anywhere. I created a new reference for Chloe with short hair. (picture below made in 2023)

i liked it for a while, but the top part of her bangs (with the sharp swoop) made me think it would be difficult to do different povs and angles in future comics/projects. an old mutual of mine, Brittninja (who created The First Human) hosted an art contest and i was able to win a prize from her; which is the drawing below:

i still VERY much love this, i literally gush at every piece of art i get from anyone.

when britt made the drawing for me, the way she drew chloe's hair made me feel (admittedly) a little bad because i thought chloe's hair would be hard to draw. (im sure she probably didnt mind, regardless) (also it looks like chloe has a little cowlick, which i love very much even if its unintended)

so i did some experimenting and did a style i turned out i liked.

so i decided to change her hair up again, this time simpler.

this is V.2 of chloes reference which includes a stuffed giraffe. (based off an actual webkinz plush i have since i was 8 years old.

i, again, liked how this reference looked and left it like that for a while until it was time for an update with my current art style.

and then changed it again (just the hair tho)

i wanted chloes hair to be more curly as i think it suits her a LOT.

but yeah, this is what i have for chloe. i could go on about the other stuff but i dont wanna make this post longer than it is. but here's some more old art for your pleasure:

oh yeah, this was ages ago. when i was into the more sans au side of the undertale fandom and i was enjoying Frisk more than chloe. (them and chara have been through lots of design changes as well lmao) thats a whole different post for later.

How did you got the idea of Chloe and the Au Pacifide ?

great question! gosh its been so long, i don't fully remember what mainly inspired me to create chloe as i've created her when i was 14.

what i DO remember, is that i thought it would be a fun idea to have two humans in the underground. i had an au in mind before i created chloe, which was called "undercorrupt". but that au is lost media (im very certain someone else had thought of the idea name lol).

for pacifide, the original name was "caretale" and chloes original trait was called "care" which at the time felt really cool, both chloe and frisk had completely different designs back then. and the original story was very different as well, where chloe fell first and befriended everyone, while frisk fell down after her and took the no mercy route.

i had realized someone else had the exact same idea as me. i did not want to be accused of copying (the 2017 undertale fandom era was kinda tame, but not really.) and i didn't know how to work with the idea anyway, so i went for something else instead! pacifide went through a LOT of ideas...still is!

i have. so much. old. art. its insane.

ive seen my friends make different versions of chloe for their own stories and I absolutely LOVE it.

EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS!

Hello, I'm known as Aurora. A while ago, I had a medical emergency regarding my foot. (I'm okay now, thankfully.) However, I'm unfortunately buried in medical debt, and my only option is to make payments of $106 per month, which I can't afford given my varied work hours, not to mention other costs such as rent and utilities.
