However, many of the tiger’s prey, like deer and boars, are dichromats, meaning they see a limited range of colors and cannot distinguish orange from green effectively. To these animals, a tiger’s orange coat blends in with the green foliage, making it an effective camouflage. This evolutionary adaptation allows tigers to remain stealthy while hunting.
