You don't want to move on. You want to stay there, forever. Cause it's your definition of peace, tranquility. You know that you're never, never going to get them but you still wish upon that one star, that could hold one possibility of them being yours. A chance that you know won't occur for 99.99% but that 0.01% makes you hold onto that unrequited love.

I know big cities are often romanticized but do you ever fall in love with your own small hometown? Where everyone knows the ice cream shop across the block or the smell of the rain when winter turns to spring and it's like you're living in your own suburban bubble? That even if you tried to explain it to someone else, they could never truly understand what it was like growing up there?
