Teaching Transitions With Ease

Today I would like to share a few things to teach your students how to be transition quickly and easily. Transitions are very important in any classroom. If they are not taught consistently at the start of the school year and reinforced daily throughout the year, valuable learning time will be lost each day.

Classroom Doorbell

Last month, I ordered a classroom doorbell on Amazon. I used it as an attention getter, but the wireless doorbell that I purchased had many songs on it. It could be used as a way to transition your students from one thing to the next. There were 58 different ringtones and songs. There are holiday songs and regular children's songs. I think this would be a really fun way to have students move from one thing to the next.

Class Dojo

In my school, we use Class Dojo. It has a built in timer that is perfect for everything! I use it all the time for helping students transition from one thing to the next. If you don't have Class Dojo, there are tons of other timers floating around the internet.

Challenge

Students super love a good challenge! This one kind of goes hand in hand with tracking their transitions. This is simple. Challenge your students to transition under a certain amount of time. If they continue to meet the challenges, let them earn a little treat. I would even continue to lower the transition time to increase the challenge.

Tips on How to Remove a Doorbell Chime

To remove a doorbell chime from your home, you will need to remove the following 2 parts: the doorbell and the remote button on the outside front door frame. The wires will still remain in the wall and door frame after you have removed both parts. Also, there will be holes in the wall and door frame after you have removed the button and the bell, which you should repair. However, such repairing thing will be a bit hard for someone to complete this job without prior experience and with no major tools. That's the reason why I prefer wireless doorbell chime recently.

But if you still want to DIY, you can check the following tips:

Turn the electrical breaker off that is wired to the doorbell to disconnect the electric current. Locate the doorbell and the doorbell button.

Remove the cover panel from the bell by pulling it off of the bell's frame. Remove the screws that are securing the frame to the wall using the screwdriver. Loosen the wire connections using the screwdriver and pull the wires from the connectors.

Separate the ground, positive and negative wires from each other. Place electric tape around the exposed wires and push the wires back into the wall. Ensure that the wires are completely covered to prevent a fire.

Remove the screws that are securing the doorbell chime button to the outside door frame using the screwdriver. Loosen the wire connections with the screwdriver and pull the wires from the button. Place electric tape around the tips of each wire as you did for the bell wires, and push them back into the wall.

Different between rat cage trap and Spring Rat traps

A rat cage trap is a metal cage box-shaped device that is designed primarily to catch rats without killing them. Spring Rat Traps normally can kill the rats. Food bait (not poisoned) is put in the cage trap. When an animal enters the cage and moves toward the bait, the mechanism triggers and closes a door over the entry point. The animal is caught alive and without injury. The animal can be transported and released elsewhere or subsequently killed.  Rat traps you  need only to get rid of the dead body. So which one you prefer?

When Should Kids Start Using Water Bottles?

You can start introducing kids water bottles at a very young age — around the same time you teach your child to start drinking from sippy cups. They may not become a kids water bottle pro overnight, but if you’re patient, they’ll get the hang of it.

If you’re using a kids water bottle that early for your child, you may want to give careful consideration to what type of material you the bottle should be made of. You can choose:

Plastic.

Stainless steel.

Glass.

Aluminum.

How to set up a mouse trap?

When I was young my father will build a snap traps for mice, but now there are seldom people will build a mouse trap himself. as there are dozens of choice in the market we don’t need to be bothering building one for ourselves. we can easily choose one or mix different kind of pest control as we like.

However even so we need to know how to set up the mouse traps.here is how we do it.

1: Remove the bait cup from the bottom of the rat trap by first turning it 90 degree counterclockwise. Fill and replace the cup by reinserting and turning it 90 degree clockwise..

2: With both hands, grab and press open the end lever until a distinctive "clack" sound is heard. The mouse trap is now set. For more easier, please turn the head down to open and lock it.

3: Carefully place the mice trap to the chosen location and make sure the head is towards to the wall . then the trap is finally set. Note that the snap traps is better to set about 10cm from the wall for best effect.
