Brown doesn’t just use poetry to tell a story but tells journey through the power of inspirational and infectious collections of truth. * “Perhaps it was just playful nature of the wind, not malicious intent, that gifted the budding rose to the scorching earth.” * Brown’s ambition to write is screamed through the pages of this book and really brings fourth the bare feelings that people conceal. His poetry is soothing and doesn’t abide by “normal” poetry that has to rhythm or be short. This man is a genuine writer whose words just flow and end perfectly. * One of my favourite excerpts from the book BARE was the first words from the poem, Days Like This; I used to think of you on days like this. One morning the sun won’t rise You won’t see me when you open those beautiful eyes but you’ll lie wishing. * If you guys have been following me for a while you will know I’m not a religious person but even the poems in relationship to faith were some of my favourites. Brown writes not only with his mind but also with heart as you can feel the power in the words written and how smoothly they read. * I love how fearless the poems read to the mind and the amount of soul that resides in them. Hello biblio beauties💜📖 * Today is my last day at the job I’ve had for the past 3 years, it’s been a great ride but it’s time to move on to bigger and better things! But of course on my last day, they put me on two shifts 😂😑 And of course it’s snowing, I hate the cold and snow, unless I don’t have to go in it 😜 * Working on my new psychological-thriller and loving every second of it! Everything is falling into place for my writing career 🖊 ❄️ Bright light; A dim candle light seems so far yet so full of life. As if the sun sparked a bolt from its rays into life of the depressed and worried. A morning bird cheering for the sun as it dries its wings from the light above. So simple yet simply beautiful. The light grew as it drew closer I chased the light that brought me so much joy as if it was my angel. Any excuse to be in its presence. Beating down from my uncontrolled thoughts, the sun gave my heart its purpose to blossom. Running out of ways to believe that this object could be anything but the soul of the sky. Looking up, seeing the night sun, wishing day would come faster and the stars would stay still. Hello biblio beauties💜📖 * I FINALLY figured out my pen name! My first book was just under my actual name but I’ve been craving a pen name and I finally thought of one that I’m absolutely in love with. Lena Rose. It was going to be one of my character names but it’s always been a favourite of mine since it incorporates my middle name and my favourite flower 🌹 * So I’m currently waiting for a couple more book packages to come in from authors so I’m currently in a reading slump. But I’ve made time to read some on my to be read list so I’m happy 😊 * ❄️ Captured; My happiness grew as the sunshine took away the darkness. The walls felt closed yet nothing had drew my arms together more than the warmth of a hug. A hug I longed for. I fell to my knees as my hands caught my body from falling.
