Two 2016 horror movies I enjoyed

(Not in order from best to worst or anything)

Don’t Breathe

I personally enjoyed this movie. I really didn’t know who to feel bad for the criminals or the old man. It’s a great horror movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat. A trio of three friends go to rob a rich man but are soon to find out fate has a different idea for them. I rate this a 4.5/5 stars.

Don’t Hang up

This movie is full of twists and turns and that is something I enjoy. A group of teens pank call random people for a fun time but the night turns into a living nightmare. They soon find out they pranked the wrong person.

5/5 stars.

Jeepers Creepers 3 Review

Growing up, I LOVED the first two movies but this movie I would never rewatch. The movie just jumped right into him being a killer once again. He as already out of the barn which made no sense. He smiled the whole time which had a eerie add to it. 

I did like them having Trish from part one in this at the end indicating another movie, however, I don’t think they should if it will be the same as this one. They did make a part two reference as well with the bus.

I give thi movie a 2/5 stars. Not the best.

Mystery-Horror

Since me and my husband moved into our new home we started noticing weird things such as in the shed there is a lock on the inside like somebody locked themselves inside? There was also jars (peanut butter and jelly) on the ceiling for screws, bolts, etc I am assuming for the guy that lived there before. We were told an elderly couple lived here before and the lady was in a nursing home no clue about the man. Well, the guy cleaning the place ended up leaving in a hurry before we moved in and left his stuff here never came back well my husband decided to remove the elderly man's jars and now weird stuff began. Strange feeling about the atmosphere, front door being unlocked and opened. Sorta creepy but it is what it is. I will update if anything else occurs.

Halloween

I just adore Halloween, It is my favorite Holiday by far. 

Some people hate the holiday because they say it's satans day. No, it's how you look at it.  I don't celebrate the devil's day, I celebrate Halloween. I dress up yes, I pass out candy to children, I watch Horror films, go to haunted houses, pumpkin patches and such. There is NO devil worshipping involved.

Halloween is also known as "All Hallows Eve", I never did know why Halloween originated but I have heard many stories about why we "dress" up. We dress up to blend in with the "dead", Halloween is also known as the "day of the dead" where the "dead" comes out from the grave and lurk through the darkness so we dress up to "blend" in with the corpses, and such.

Halloween can honestly be a fun time if you allow it.

It -2017 Went and saw the new "IT" movie with my husband. I enjoyed the movie way better than the original. I will say I love how Pennywise was more "terrifying"than before. I did enjoy the effects and such. However I think the movie was more of a emotional type. I cried in several parts in this movie when the girl "Beverly" cuts her hair, and when they had emotional scenes about "Georgie". In my opinion they could have made it more scary than emotional. I came to watch a horror flick not a sad one. I did like they made "you'll float too" an act meaning unlike the original. At the end it said "chapter one" which means they're leading into a part two since in this they were still kids. In the original it had them both as kids and adults. Overall I would give this movie a 4/5 stars. The original I would give it a 2/5 stars.

Haunted Asylum Two days ago, me and my husband went to a Haunted Asylum. We loved it! 🍫🍬👻🍂🍁🔪🎃 We are definitely going again next year. My favorite part was walking in a fridge to get to the other door. There was many jump scares and such but me personally didn't get scared. Halloween is my favorite holiday of course. This haunted asylum is located in central Illinois if you guys are in the surrounding area next Halloween give this place a look see. Great horror fun.

Fall checklist

I just love the Fall! Crisp air, beautiful leaves and yes of course Halloween!

I made a fall bucket list:

- S'mores -Horror Movie date -Horror Games -Haunted houses -Pumpkin Patch -Try new pumpkin foods/drinks -Celebrate my favorite holiday

So far, I have played several horror games. I have played "Friday the 13th, Resident Evil 7, and  Until Dawn." I have gone to a pumpkin patch back in late Septemeber and I got to try an amazing "Pumpkin Ice cream". Yum!

For the foods/drinks, I have tried a pumpkin spice cold coffee which was a no go, tasted more like water! I did have the ice cream which was a plus. I have had a Pumpkin shake which was amazing and last but not least Special k's Pumpkin spice cereal! Yummy!

This coming weekend I am supposed to be going on a date with my husband to a "Haunted Asylum" flashlight tour, and celebrate Halloween with a Horror movie marathon! I am excited to let you guys know how well that goes. I have yet to have s'mores but fall is NOT over yet!

Why I like Horror, Thriller and Mystery "Genre's"?

I have been into Horror since I was a kid. I have seen every "Nightmare on Elm st.", "Friday the 13th", "Halloween", "Chucky movies" and such from the time I was 7 years old.  I have read several horror books as well.

Now Thriller and Mystery, I really cannot remember why or how I begin an interest in that genre. I do, however, recall watching "Murder she wrote" growing up with my mother. I really guess it is the "thrill" that captures my interest. I have never been into anything else but these types of Genres. I sometimes have a taste for "comedy".

My favorite horror book “Skeleton Man”

My favorite horror book would have to be "Skeleton Man" by Joseph Bruchac. I read this twice growing up once in school and again during the summer time. I would love to re-read it again.  I think it was really well written, it made me feel as if I was in the book along with the boy.  

I would give this book a 5/5 stars for the way it made me feel as if I was running from the "Skeleton Man" trying to find answers of who he was, what happen to his parents, and why he was with some stranger.

Slasher Season 2 - Guilty Party

I binge watch Slasher season two for two days, I actually enjoyed the whole "Slasher" series. I think two is my favorite, however, I do think they could have had better blood at the beginning when the killer chainsaws "Gene".  

I did, however, enjoy the story of the camp counselors being stalked by a killer, no not Jason Vorhees. They did mention him twice in the season. I did catch on to them not fully explaining the killer. The killer was "Judith's" Son Owen? It was hard to tell if he was her son or boyfriend because they kissed and seemed to have feelings like a boyfriend and girlfriend do.  Anyways, He was actually a counselor as well with the five people including the girl was murdered.  They did not explain how people at the cabin were speaking to "Owen" since he was not really there, he was in "Judith's" mind. He had hung his self in prison because the five that killed her framed him and he was obsessed with the girl and got blamed for her murder.

I did understand that he sent Judith a letter before hanging his self that told her to make all of them pay for sending him to prison for a murder he did not commit.

Overall, I give the season 4/5 stars.
